About the Role

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Head of Fundraising to lead and develop our fundraising strategy at a crucial time in Youth Advantage UK's growth. Reporting to the CEO, you’ll oversee a multi-disciplinary fundraising team and play a key role in shaping our strategy to secure the resources needed to support our mission.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced fundraising leader who is ready to take on a leadership position, mentor a growing team, and make a tangible impact on the lives of those we serve. You will be instrumental in driving fundraising across diverse channels, from major donor cultivation to digital fundraising and events.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and Execute Fundraising Strategy – Develop and drive a comprehensive fundraising strategy that includes grant fundraising and aligns with the organisation’s mission and financial goals.
• Manage Fundraising Teams – Provide leadership to Fundraising Managers and the Partnerships Lead, ensuring successful delivery across all fundraising channels.
• Build Relationships with Major Donors – Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key donors, stakeholders, and potential partners to secure long-term support.
• Oversee Fundraising Events – Lead and support the planning, execution, and evaluation of fundraising events that engage donors and raise critical funds.
• Digital Fundraising – Oversee online giving campaigns and strategies to increase digital fundraising engagement and revenue.
• Reporting and Budgeting – Monitor fundraising progress, ensuring targets are met, and provide regular reports to the CEO and Board.
• Team Development – Mentor and coach the fundraising team, ensuring they are motivated, developed, and equipped to excel in their roles.
• Strategic Partnerships – Build and nurture community partnerships that expand our reach and increase funding.
• Brand Advocacy – Act as a passionate ambassador for the charity, enhancing its visibility in the charity sector and promoting its mission.

• Proven experience in fundraising, with a strong track record across digital campaigns, corporate partnerships and grant fundraising.
• Leadership experience in managing and developing fundraising teams or volunteers.
• A strategic mindset with the ability to think big and execute effectively in a resource-constrained environment.
• Hands-on experience in managing the day-to-day operations of fundraising campaigns while being able to step back and think at a strategic level.
• Strong relationship-building and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and engage diverse stakeholders.

• Familiarity with digital fundraising tools and social media platforms for promoting campaigns (desirable but not essential).

Job Purpose:

We are seeking a talented and creative Volunteer AI Video Producer to transform powerful story scripts into emotionally engaging, inspirational, and motivational AI-generated video content. The successful candidate will play a key role in helping us bring real-life stories and important social issues to life through compelling visual storytelling.

This role is ideal for someone passionate about using cutting-edge AI video technology to create meaningful content that educates, inspires, empowers, and emotionally connects with audiences. The Volunteer AI Video Producer will help produce approximately 30-minute AI-generated videos and shorter story-based content that align with our mission and message.

About the role:

The Volunteer AI Video Producer will be responsible for converting written story scripts into high-quality AI-generated video productions.

Working closely with our content and storytelling team, you will:

• Produce compelling AI-generated video stories from completed scripts.
• Select appropriate AI video platforms and tools to create the highest quality visual content.
• Develop visual concepts, scenes, transitions, and storytelling sequences that effectively communicate the emotions and messages within each script.
• Use AI-generated characters, cinematic scenes, UGC (User Generated Content) style videos, animations, stock footage, and creative visual assets where appropriate.

Cambridgeshire ACRE is looking for a new Trustee & Treasurer to join our Board and help shape the future of rural communities across Cambridgeshire and Peterborough.

For more than 100 years, Cambridgeshire ACRE has supported rural communities through projects focused on affordable housing, community wellbeing, village halls, environmental action and rural leadership. We work alongside local people and organisations to help communities thrive.

We are seeking someone who can support the Board with strategic financial oversight and help ensure the long-term sustainability of the organisation.

Who are we? 

At Chapter2, a Reading-based charity that mentors fatherless boys through a network of 1:1 male volunteers. Our mentoring is long-term and activity based in order to develop meaningful trusted relationships that can have a positive impact on a boy's life. 

What sort of person are we looking for? 

If you are a man living within a 45-minute drive of Reading, Berkshire, then we’d love to hear from you. We recruit, train and match men with boys aged 8 - 16 that do not have a healthy male role model. Our mentoring is activity-based, and we match mentees with a mentor based on their shared interests. You will be committed to walking alongside your mentee for a minimum of 2 years; meeting him for 1-2 hours a week/fortnightly. Most of the mentoring is doing normal activities a father might do with his son ie go for a bike ride, kick a football around, take a walk, etc. We also offer montly group activities that you and your mentee can access for free. In the past these have included paintball, laser tag, bushcraft, footgolf, beach day, go karting, rock climbing, etc. 

What do we offer you? 

You will receive high-quality training at the beginning of your mentoring journey, as well weekly check-ins from your mentor manager, who will support you throughout your time as a mentor.  Additional training is also provided throughout your mentoring journey. Most activities mentors do with their mentees is free, but we do cover some expenses if an activity has an associated cost.

About Trans Legal Clinic 

The Trans Legal Clinic is the first trans-led specialist gender identity legal practice and registered charity in the UK. The mission of the Trans Legal Clinic is simple; we provide free and accessible legal help to transgender and non-binary people in need. Our overarching vision is a society where all people have access to the legal resources required for gender self-determination and where gender diversity is not just accepted but embraced, with trans* people equipped with the necessary legal tools to navigate the world in their affirmed gender. 

What you’ll be doing 

The Casework department is the core of our organisation. The department helps clients across four key themes: Housing and Homelessness, Discrimination, Gender Recognition, Gender-Based Violence 

As a caseworker, you will work directly with clients by offering them support and advocacy.With support from our lead caseworkers, you will help progress cases by providing legal guidance, signposting clients to resources, writing letters, and other administrative support. It is a dynamic environment with truly rewarding work. Full training will be provided. 

About you 

This is an exciting opportunity for someone with good communication and organisation skills to support the transgender community. Volunteering and administrative experience is beneficial but not essential. We are particularly interested in applications from people interested or studying law.

Bring a Personal Touch to Supporting Our Legacy Community

Help us bulid personal connections with our legacy supporters, making them feel supported and valued.

The legacy marketing team steward supporters who have, or may, pledge a donation to the Fund in their will. Gifts in Wills are an essential source of income for the Fund and are due to bring in around £10 million in 2025 with a similar amount forecast for 2026 and are the largest income stream. These donations are vital to the Fund’s ability to provide support to the RAF Family at the scale we are able to – supporting 64,876 members of the RAF Family in 2024, offering timely, compassionate and tailored help. With In-Memory, these are supporters who have either donated in-memory of a loved one who has passed or are funds collected from a funeral collection.

Volunteers in this role will help the Fund to add a more personal touch to how we communicate with and steward our legacy supporters. This role will enhance the Fund’s relationships with these individuals and provide a more tailored approach to thanking them for the generous gifts that allow us to provide our services. 

Volunteers are asked to support the legacy and in-memory marketing team in a variety of ways that enhance the experience of our legacy and in-memory. Volunteers can choose to help in any or all of the below ways – for all of which you will be provided with a script by the team:

• Hand writing letters of thanks to supporters offering thanks for their support depending on their relationship with the Fund (e.g. considering leaving a gift, already pledged to leve a gift, received an in-memory donation etc).

• Phoning attendees of legacy events ahead of the event to check their attendance, any requirements and answer any questions.

• Assembling gift packs to be given out at legacy events.

• Assit with our online Much Loved pages by adding a thank you message and providing personal touches to dedication page such as lighting candles when they set the page up and again around significant anniversaries (training will be provided for this element inhouse).

Skills and attributes needed for this role include: 

• Empathetic

• Clear, neat, legible handwriting 

• Good listener 

• Confident telephone manner 

• Able to handle sensitive or emotional conversations centred around death (if choosing to help with the telephone part of the role).

• Able to use Microsoft Excel for record keeping (guidance provided).
