THT Direct is Terrence Higgins Trust’s national helpline, offering a safe, confidential and non-judgemental space for people seeking information, advice and emotional support. For more than 30 years, the service has supported thousands of people with questions about living with HIV, HIV prevention, sexually transmitted infections (STIs), testing, contraception and sexual health.

As a Helpline Volunteer, you will join a supportive team of trained staff and volunteers who respond to enquiries by telephone, email and webchat. You will listen with empathy, provide clear, accurate and up-to-date information, and help people access appropriate services through effective signposting and referrals. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a meaningful difference at times when people may feel worried, isolated or unsure where to turn.
