The Volunteer Operations Analyst ensures that this contribution is organised, visible and aligned with the organisation’s mission, safeguarding responsibilities and growth.

You will play a key role in connecting people, systems and structure—ensuring that volunteer engagement is consistent, well-managed and sustainable as the C.I.C grows.

This is not a purely administrative role. It is insight-driven, systems-focused and central to how the organisation operates effectively behind the scenes.

Role Summary

The Operations Analyst is responsible for measuring, analyzing, and optimizing the organization’s
internal operations to improve efficiency, accountability, and overall performance. This role focuses on operational systems development, process evaluation, workflow optimization, and organizational effectiveness, enabling leadership to make informed decisions and ensuring that the organization’s activities are structured, scalable, and effective.

While analytical skills are essential, this is not a traditional Data Analyst role. The emphasis is on understanding how systems, teams, and workflows function, and using insight to design and improve operational structures, not just analyze datasets.

The Operations Analyst does not execute or enforce tasks, but plays a critical role in diagnosing
operational challenges and recommending actionable, system-level solutions.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES:

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Data Tracking & Performance Monitoring

• Develop and maintain centralized tracking systems (e.g., Google Sheets, Airtable) to support operational visibility
• Monitor key operational metrics across departments, including:
  • Volunteer recruitment and onboarding timelines
  • Task completion rates across teams
  • Program and project delivery timelines
• Ensure data is accurate, relevant, and structured to inform operational decisions (not just reporting)

2. Reporting & Operational Insights

• Prepare weekly or bi-weekly operational reports for leadership
• Go beyond reporting by clearly highlighting:
  • Root causes of inefficiencies
  • System and workflow gaps
  • Operational risks
• Translate data and observations into clear, actionable, system-focused recommendations

3. Process Analysis & Workflow Design

• Document and map existing workflows across functions (HR, Programs, Operations, etc.)
• Analyze how work actually flows across teams—not just what is recorded in data
• Identify bottlenecks

● Bridge the gap between how work is designed and how it is executed

SCOPE AND BOUNDARIES FOR THE ROLE:
To ensure clarity and proper role alignment:

• Analyze workflows, systems, and operational performance
• Design and recommend process and system improvements

• Function as a Data Analyst focused solely on datasets and reporting
• Be limited to producing reports without contributing to process improvement and system design
• Manage or supervise team members

WORKING RELATIONSHIP:
The Operations Analyst will:

• Report directly to the Director of Central Operations & Executive Coordination
• Support decision-making but will not replace leadership authority
• Work collaboratively across all teams while maintaining objectivity and independence

Success in this role will be measured by:

• Quality and impact of operational insights and recommendations
• Measurable improvements in workflow efficiency and system effectiveness

What Success Looks Like in This Role:
Within the first 60–90 days, the Operations Analyst should:

• Establish a functional and structured operations tracking system
• Deliver insight-driven reports that highlight system-level issues (not just data summaries)
• Identify and recommend improvements to at least 2–3 key operational workflows
• Provide leadership with clear visibility into how operations actually function and where improvements are needed

Millimetres 2 Mountains Foundation (M2M) is a charity dedicated to helping individuals rebuild their lives after experiencing physical or emotional trauma. Founded by former professional rugby player Ed Jackson and his wife, Lois, following Ed’s life-changing spinal injury, M2M uses the power of adventure, nature, and community to support people on their journey of recovery.

Alongside our core programmes, M2M runs Together Outdoors -  a community-based initiative that harnesses the healing power of nature and connection through mental health walks led by trained volunteers and Life Coaches, offering safe, inclusive spaces for honest conversation, emotional support, and personal growth. Job Description

The Chair will hold the Trustee Board and Executive Team to account for the Charity’s mission and vision, providing inclusive leadership to the Board of Trustees, ensuring that each trustee fulfils their duties and responsibilities for the effective governance of the charity. The Chair will also support, and, where appropriate, challenge the Co-Founder & Charity Manager and ensure that the Board functions as a unit and works closely with leadership within the charity to achieve agreed objectives. He or she will act as an ambassador and the public face of the charity in partnership with the Co-Founder & Charity Manager. Principal responsibilities: 

Strategic leadership 

• Provide leadership to the charity and its Board, ensuring that the Charity has maximum impact for its beneficiaries and wider community.

• Ensure that Trustees fulfil their duties and responsibilities for the effective governance of the Charity

• Sight Loss After Stroke Group
• Retinitis Pigmentosa (RP) Support Group

We are asking Local Coordinators to launch Amnesty Human Rights Where You Live initiatives in their area of the East Midlands, helping to bring together local people with an interest in human rights. This is an on-the-ground role promoting activism in your area.

Over the next twelve months, Coordinators would then support their local team to: 

• Raise awareness of and campaign on human rights issues locally. 

• Persuade local politicians to put human rights at the heart of their decisions 

• Engage their local community and ‘change the conversation’ on human rights

• Mark International Human Rights Day on 10 December 

• Set up an Amnesty local group with fundraising to enable future campaigning 

They would also have the chance to team up with other Coordinators to help develop and deliver a human rights campaign for the East Midlands. 

This is a great opportunity to make a difference in your local area on issues you are passionate about while also gaining experience and confidence with a wide range of campaign and communication skills.  

What support would I get? 

Coordinators will be supported at every step by the Amnesty East Midlands Regional Organiser and other staff, who will provide: 

• Support for a local launch meeting for Human Rights Where You Live 

• Training in knowledge and skills 

• 1-1 coaching 

• Organising, campaigning and fundraising resources 

• Face-to-face and online networking with other activists as a regional team.

All Coordinators would:

• Feedback on their activities on a regular and structured basis. 

• Aim to attend a reasonable number of core training and networking sessions online and in-person, depending on individual circumstances.

• Some knowledge of your local area in the East Midlands.

Experience of campaigning is always welcome but not essential – we find that people often have skills from something else they have done that would be very helpful for the role. 

How much time is needed? 

We would estimate around 2-3 hours a week would be the average, although there may be some periods where more or less commitment is needed. We’d ask that you commit to your local Human Rights Where You Live project for at least one year, although we recognize that people’s circumstances do change. 

We also understand that this role may need to fit around your family, studies, caring or other commitments.  

Any other requirements? 

Coordinators would need to be living in the East Midlands and unlikely to move in the next 12 months. We welcome interest from students at East Midlands universities. 

We would ask that any Coordinator be at least 18. However, if you are under 18 but would still like to get involved in Amnesty, please do get in touch to find more about our youth groups. 

We welcome interest from people who are already volunteering with another community or campaign group with an interest in human rights, and who are interested in doing a local Human Rights Where You Live project as a collaboration between Amnesty and that group.

What we need from you

This is a highly flexible role, and you can choose how you’d like to get involved. Opportunities include:

• Face-to-face fundraising – organising or helping at fundraising events, running supermarket collections and fundraising stands, and monitoring collection tins
• Online fundraising – setting up online appeals and writing engaging cat case studies to maximise donations
• Marketing and promotion – spreading the word about fundraising activities via social media and local press
• Administration – processing donations, sorting and recording donated goods, and completing Gift Aid paperwork
• Championing our work – helping to develop new fundraising ideas and increasing community engagement
• Photography – capturing images of cats in care, cats we’re helping, fundraising events, and all things Cats Protection

The Branch Chair role is vital to the running of the branch as they act as a leader and a coordinator for the branch. Without these roles, we would not have as many branches as we do.

What you will be doing

• Planning, arranging, and chairing committee meetings and public meetings.
• Along with other committee members, representing the branch at external meetings e.g. with local services for autistic people.
• Delegating tasks to other committee members or volunteers
• Raising the profile of the NAS within your branch and local community.
• Ensuring your branch complies with NAS policies including risk assessment, data protection and safeguarding
• Monitoring branch income and expenditure in partnership with the treasurer and authorising branch payments
• Supporting fundraising in your branch
• Co-ordinating and promoting local campaigns and bringing others on board to help you
• Keeping your Senior Branch Engagement Officer informed about branch activities and events
• Overseeing the moderation of the branch online support group / forum
• Liaising with newsletter editor on contents and production of bi-monthly newsletter
• Motivating the team involved in running your branch
• Trying to resolve any difficulties experienced by your branch
• (NB In the case of Co-Chairs, the above tasks would be shared between the two)

All Nations Christian College has been leading the way in cross-cultural mission training for over 60 years. Role Purpose

The ICT Project Manager is responsible for managing key ICT projects to support the college’s organisational objectives. The role will project manage external ICT suppliers and partners. The college’s operational ICT services are in the process of being outsourced so the ICT Project Manager will need to ensure systems remain reliable and secure during the transition project.

Key Responsibilities

 ICT Project Management

• Develop and maintain project plans and schedules.
• Ensure projects are delivered in line with agreed budgets, scope and quality constraints.
• Provide regular progress reporting to senior management and teams.

Supplier Management

• Manage relationships with external ICT suppliers and service providers, acting as the primary point of contact.
• Oversee supplier performance against contracts, addressing issues and evaluating  service provision.
• Ensure suppliers comply with organisational policies, security standards, and regulatory requirements.

Operational ICT Oversight

• Provide oversight of transition to outsourcing of day‑to‑day ICT operational services, ensuring systems are stable, resilient, and supported.
• Support incident, problem, and change management processes, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.

Governance, Risk & Compliance

• Ensure projects and services comply with information security, data protection, and organisational governance standards.
• Identify, manage, and escalate risks and issues appropriately.
• Maintain accurate project and service documentation.

Essential Skills & Experience

• Proven experience managing ICT projects in a changing organisational environment.
• Strong experience of contract management of third‑party suppliers and ICT contracts.
• Knowledge of ICT systems, infrastructure, cloud services, and digital solutions.
• Experience overseeing or working closely with ICT operational services.

Through these engaging sessions, you'll inspire participants to make small changes to their behaviour that make a massive difference in the day-to-day lives of people with sight loss. As a Community Change Champion, this will involve:

• Talking directly with community leaders, businesses, & local groups about ways they can get involved & inviting them to join an Awareness to Action session.
• Delivering RNIB’s Awareness to Action sessions either in person or online, using our resources. You may do this on your own or with a team of other local volunteers, both sighted and with sight loss.
• Sharing RNIB’s information & initiatives so people know we’re here for them.
• If you have a personal link to sight loss, sharing your experience during the session to help give a tangible example of how local people can make a real difference.
• Telling us about any activities you have engaged in via a Microsoft form.

What will you gain from the role?
• First-hand experience in grassroots community engagement & charity outreach.
• The opportunity to develop communication & networking skills.
• Support to learn & or use presentation skills to deliver the Awareness to Action Session in person and virtually.
• If you have lived experience of sight loss, support to tell your story to make the most positive impact.
• Know that your efforts are improving the public’s understanding, perceptions & behaviour towards blind and partially sighted people.
