Job description

The AFRIL creche volunteer will support by looking after babies and toddlers in the creche area. This role is a major key in enabling single moms and families to engage fully with the sessions, knowing their little ones are safe and happy nearby. This will give our members the space to contribute their perspectives and experiences and help them not be excluded from services and workshops.
Our volunteers are crucial in supporting AFRIL staff to obtain the best outcomes for our clients, and this role offers a hands-on opportunity to support meaningful engagement, observe co-production in practice, and gain insight into the challenges and needs of refugees and asylum seekers in our community.
This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a meaningful initiative that amplifies and supports local moms and families and helps create a welcoming space for them where voices of people with lived experience in our community, shapes services that make a real difference. If you enjoy engaging with people, supporting others, and contributing to community change, we would love to hear from you!
