The International Humanity Foundation (IHF) is a 501 c3 International Non- profit, founded in 2001. For over twenty years we have been globally successful in our two fold mission: (1) To educate marginalized children—activating their highest potential and nurturing healthy, loving communities around them. Ihf believe the happiness of our world's children rises above all political and religious differences; And equates to the quality of our world's happiness tomorrow. —(2) To educate global citizens through communication and real life experiences, (online and in person), about the realities of marginalized communities; while teaching practical skills in aiding needed efforts, thus giving voice to the voiceless.
IHF strives to offer children and adults (from young through retirement) venues for learning and safely practicing these leadership skills.
IHF is a unique organization. It believes in absolute transparency and functions almost entirely through the efforts of its hundreds of unpaid volunteers from all over the world. Our amazing volunteers give their time, skills, energy, and love.
Web development and management FIRMS and INDIVIDUALS will collaborate directly with volunteers from around the world. IHF website and materials are marketed towards multiple geographies, both locally in the communities we work with and on a global platform.
An At-Home volunteer in this position will assist our Website & Media Teams in visual editing of content for social media platforms and website design.

Eligibility
IHF is looking for individuals who can commit to a minimum of 2 hours per month with a passion for visual communication and ‘out of the box’ creativity.
At-Home Volunteers accepted to this position will also have confidence using the English language (both spoken and written)

Volunteer whatever hours are best for you, from the comfort of your home, while meeting wonderful, caring people around the world. The position doesn't require technical knowledge, just a positive personality encouraging children, teens, or adults depending on which team you join. IHF is seeking At-Home Volunteers for our many Teams. The position includes reaching out to and working with, a global network of volunteers as well as mentoring online children or teens if desired. Our At-Home Online Volunteers come from around the world and form online teams essential to our Children’s Homes and Community Centers. Each Division has a variety of teams many enjoy.

About you
You'll have the energy, integrity, passion, and skills to work with the Board of Trustees, our CEO and staff team, and our community, to drive forward a successful and dynamic future for our charity and the families we support.
We’re particularly looking to add the following professional skills and experiences to our team.
- Developing digital products, tools and/or services.
- Directly supporting children and/or families on an ongoing professional basis.
- Fundraising in a charity through voluntary donations or commercial income.
You don’t need to have been a Trustee before, but you do need to be willing to do some training to help you understand the role and the responsibilities that come with it.
We actively encourage applications from under-represented, marginalised and racialised groups, and those with lived experience of any of the barriers families face to having time away together. That’s things like mental or physical ill health, disability, domestic abuse, being a young carer or living on a low income.
We will make adjustments to our schedule and processes to ensure new trustees can be included and supported in the role.

Expenses
You won’t get paid for your time, but we’ll make sure you aren’t out of pocket by covering the cost of your travel to meetings, childcare or other care if you need it, and a range of other expenses you might have while doing the role. We’ll book and/or pay for these in advance if you prefer.

If you accept, we’ll take up your references, do a DBS check and confirm your eligibility to act as a Trustee. If that’s all ok, you’re in! We’ll introduce you to the rest of the Trustees and get started with your induction.
Formal appointment happens at the next Board meeting which is on Thursday 5th August.

Caring Volunteers Needed: Are you concerned about our world’s future? Do you enjoy Human Relations and thrive working in the human relations division of any Institution, University or Association? Then we need you.
As an online “ At Home” Volunteer, you will be working with people from a wide variety of countries and cultures, all believing in passing on the right to basic education, the importance of cultural exchange, and giving voice to the voiceless.
The Position: We ask Volunteers to contribute a minimum of one hour a month. Within our Human Resource Division you will be learning to process applicants from around the world, assigning them to appropriate Teams and coordinating the Team Leads training sessions and monthly meetings. While English is required, you will learn to be comfortable with various global accents as well as proficient in your Interviewing skills and background research. You will practice team organizing & management skills. Depending on which teams you join, you will learn non profit contracts, global time zone coordination and other very basic, practical skills when working with people Internationally and online.

Why we want you
As branch chair you and your branch members will create a range of activities to help spread the word about SSAFA within your community. To ensure that our Armed Forces community know that SSAFA are here to help and that we need the public’s support to continue offering our services.
What you will be doing
- Overseeing an appropriate programme of awareness raising activities so that potential beneficiaries, volunteers and supporters are aware of SSAFA as first in mind for support.
- Building relationships with the regional and national SSAFA team, local voluntary organisations and, if applicable, SSAFA serving community teams, local military establishments, etc.
- Attending events as a key SSAFA representative.
- Providing timely reports and information to SSAFA’s central office
- Overseeing a programme of meetings including an AGM, branch meetings, committee meetings, training etc.
- Working with other volunteers, regional and national team members to attract and recruit new volunteers as required.
- Work closely with the community engagement co-ordinator to recruit, welcome, induct, support, and manage volunteers in line with SSAFA policies, such as the Volunteering Policy, Volunteer Code of Conduct, Data Protection Policy, and Safeguarding Policy.

The Men’s Health Telephone Group is a chance for blind and partially sighted men to come together and discuss any aspects of men’s health over the telephone once a month. This group is for men to share experiences of any aspect of men’s health including sexual health, contraception, etc. However, the group is not for the sharing of medical advice. You should be someone who is comfortable listening to conversations about men’s health that may include talk of a sexual or personal nature. You will be: Helping to ensure participants feel comfortable and to facilitate discussion. Helping the group participants feel safe to be in the group and to enable them to join in the group discussion month. Looking after participant welfare within the group and flagging any welfare or safeguarding concerns to Talk and Support for follow up. Speech and Language UK, a leading charity supporting the 1.9 million children with speech and language challenges, seeks dedicated volunteers for its Education Committee. This committee acts as the governing body for our two special schools.

Who are Speech and Language UK?
For at least 1.9 million children in the UK, learning to talk and understand words feels like an impossible hurdle. Fundraising Volunteer - Events
We're looking for friendly and enthusiastic people to support us at fundraising events throughout the UK.
Blesma, The Limbless Veterans is the national charity and membership association for limbless serving and ex-service men and women and their dependants.
We help all wounded servicemen and women who have lost limbs, the use of limbs or eyes, to rebuild their lives by providing rehabilitation activities and welfare support.
We are looking for Volunteers to help the Fundraising Team at in person fundraising and awareness raising events throughout the UK. We’re a small and friendly team, operating at a regional and national level. We organise Blesma events and collections, attend third party events and support fundraisers doing their own events.
By volunteering with us, you will have the opportunity to gain first-hand experience of volunteering for a charity and will contribute to our work supporting injured veterans and their families.
