Fundraising and Lobbying Volunteer

Purpose:

The purpose of this volunteer role is to support the CHRRASDA in mobilising funds for projects, documentary screenings, advocacy activities, and community interventions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support planning and promotion of crowdfunding campaigns

• Identify potential donors (individuals, networks, online platforms)

• Assist in adapting proposals for crowdfunding and small grants

• Support outreach to potential supporters and follow-up communications

• Assist with fundraising linked to documentary screenings and advocacy events

Required Skills & Qualities:

• Good communication and writing skills

• Interest in fundraising, advocacy, or social impact work

• Ability to work independently and meet agreed timelines

• Basic knowledge of online fundraising is an added advantage
