About YAUK
Youth Advantage UK is a charitable organization that uses a research-led approach to inform policy work and projects that aim to promote and further the human rights of young people aged 11 to 25 across the United Kingdom.
Please note that this is a remote VOLUNTEER role.

The Opportunity
The Principality of Lys is a community built by the dedication of its people. We are seeking an inspiring, highly organised, and people-focused leader to serve as our Head of Volunteering.
In this pivotal role, you will be the bridge between our vision and the passionate individuals who donate their time, expertise, and heart to our mission. You will be responsible for building our volunteer infrastructure, ensuring every contributor feels valued, and fostering a culture of beauty, culture, honour, and community within our global volunteer force.
What You’ll Be Doing
Volunteer Strategy: Designing and implementing systems for the recruitment, onboarding, and retention of our global volunteer community.
Community Stewardship: Acting as the primary point of contact for volunteers across all committees, ensuring they feel supported, recognized, and aligned with the Principality’s mission.
Operations Management: Managing the database of volunteers, matching talent to projects, and maintaining clear communication channels to ensure our organizational goals are met.
Cultural Advocacy: Ensuring that the Principality’s values are reflected in how we treat our volunteers, fostering an environment of inclusivity, excellence, and shared purpose.
Team Leadership: Mentoring committee leads and coordinating cross-departmental efforts to keep our diverse team engaged and productive.
Who You Are
You have a background in HR, community management, non-profit leadership, or organisational development.
You are an exceptional communicator with a high degree of emotional intelligence and the ability to inspire others.
You are highly organised, process-driven, and adept at managing complex databases or volunteer management software.
You are a "builder" by nature—someone who loves the process of turning a group of individuals into a cohesive, motivated, and mission-driven community.

The Mindful Foundation is a growing UK charity working across abuse prevention, emotional wellbeing, trauma recovery, rehabilitation, and victim support. We are looking for a Volunteer Marketing Assistant to help us increase awareness of our work, grow our online presence, and support our outreach.
You would support marketing and communications across our three core projects:
• Think Different: Preventing Harm Through Education
A trauma-informed early psychoeducational programme for children and young people aged 8–18 in schools, alternative provision settings, and foster care. Aiming to improve emotional control, self-worth, and resilience to stress to prevent harmful behaviour before it begins.
• True Power: Change Starts Inside
A behavioural change and rehabilitation programme supporting offenders and helping reduce reoffending. Aiming to improve emotional management, self-worth, control, and accountability to prevent harmful behaviour repeating.
• ListenApp
A discreet victim support app designed to help individuals experiencing abuse alert their support network instantly. Connecting those in danger to their emergency contacts and preventing harmful behaviour escalating.
