Corporate Partnerships Volunteer

Help CYP create more opportunities for young people by building relationships with local businesses. We're looking for a motivated volunteer to help identify corporate partners, secure support and strengthen our community connections. This flexible role is ideal for someone with strong communication skills who wants to make a real difference.

CYP has supported local young people in Islington for over 25 years. Situated right next to the King’s Cross development, we are looking for a proactive volunteer to help us connect with local businesses, tech hubs, and retailers across Coal Drops Yard, York Way, and Islington to secure funding, sponsorships, and volunteer support.

What You’ll Do:

• Research Local Businesses: Map corporate leads and CSR managers across King’s Cross and Islington.
• Targeted Outreach: Draft short pitch emails and proposals introducing CYP to local companies.
• Pipeline Management: Track contact details, responses, and follow-ups.
• Corporate Matching: Help connect corporate offers (funding, match-funding, equipment) with our youth projects.

• Local Knowledge: Someone who has familiarity
  with the Islington / King’s Cross area.
• Research Skills: Strong online research skills
  (LinkedIn, web searches).
• Confident Communicator: Communicates clearly,
  adapts messages for different audiences &
  contributes ideas with confidence
• Community Focus: Someone with a passion for
  youth work and local community impact.
