Would you like to make a positive impact for young people in Driffield and the surrounding area?
Driffield Youth Action (DYA) is a small, registered charity dedicated to supporting young people across Driffield and surrounding areas. We are looking for new Trustees to join our Board and play a vital role in ensuring we continue to provide a safe, well-governed and sustainable youth centre - where young people feel welcome, supported and inspired to grow.
Our purpose is simple: to create a safe and inclusive space where young people can access activities, support and positive opportunities. Through this, we help them build confidence, develop skills and feel connected to their community.
As a Trustee, you will:
- Attend 6–8 Board meetings per year (in person)
- Join occasional additional meetings where needed
- Spend some informal time at the youth club to stay connected to our work
The overall time commitment is approximately 8–10 hours per month, including preparation and engagement outside of meetings.
We would particularly welcome individuals with experience in:
- Finance
- Income generation
- Health and safety
- Digital/IT
- Information governance and compliance
