Telea's solution is a comprehensive digital health platform designed to revolutionize speech therapy services. It enables seamless communication and interaction between speech therapists and their clients, facilitating remote delivery of therapy exercises and monitoring of client progress. The platform consists of two main components: a patient app and a therapist web app.
The patient app allows clients to access therapy exercises and activities from the comfort of their own homes using their mobile devices or tablets. These exercises are personalized to each client's specific needs and therapy goals. Clients can receive real-time feedback and guidance as they complete their exercises, fostering engagement and motivation throughout their therapy journey.
On the other hand, the therapist web app provides speech therapists with a centralized platform to manage their caseload and interact with their clients. Role Description

Telea is looking to highlight and bring to life the stories of people living with Parkinsons. They are looking to create a series of short interviews with people who are living with Parkinson's and share their stories and journeys to raise awareness. Parkinson's is the fastest-growing neurodegenerative disease, and 1 in 5 people get diagnosed - They want to make sure that awareness is raised around this condition with the general public and make sure their stories are never forgotten. If this sounds like a role you would like to be part of, They are looking for somebody with some editing experience and videography skills. They would like to do a few interviews. You will need to be based in Ireland, ideally in the South (They are based in Cork).

What we’re looking for
We’re looking for people to join our Board with expertise in one or more of the following areas:

Finance – you might be a qualified accountant and have a background in finance and audit so that you can provide vital skills to help the Board oversee our financial management. An understanding of charity accounts and regulations would absolutely be an advantage.

Marketing & Communications – we want to reach new audiences to ensure a diverse and inclusive approach, and we are aiming to do that at scale. You may have experience of providing strategic support for increasing our reach and visibility.

Marine Conservation - you might have environmental knowledge, ideally on the marine environment, with policy and/or practical experience of conservation. A network of contacts across the marine sector, particularly with business or government, would be an advantage.
What you can bring to our Board can be just as interesting as where you’ve been working. You do not need to have previous charity trustee experience, but you will need to be comfortable participating at a senior level with complex discussions and the need to be comfortable making pragmatic but key decisions.

Trustees are volunteers, so the role is not paid but we will cover your costs for travelling and any overnight stays to attend meetings or events.

About the role.
To ensure that our governance remains robust and that, as a group of non-executives, we are able to continue offering support, advice and scrutiny to our senior leaders, we are now seeking to appoint new members to one of our committees and one of our Divisional Boards.
Firstly, we seek to appoint a co-opted member to join the UCEN Manchester Board. This Divisional Board provides oversight of the operation of the higher education provision offered by UCEN Manchester on behalf of the LTE Group.
We also seek to add a new co-opted member to our Audit & Risk Committee, whose remit is organisation-wide and whose support and challenge are vital if we are to ensure that, as an organisation, we remain compliant and can manage and mitigate the risks that affect us.
Both the UCEN Manchester Divisional Board and the Audit & Risk Committee meet three times per year, and members of these committees are required to attend in person.
Who we are looking for.
Co-opted Members are expected to support the work of the LTE Group Board of Governors through their membership of a divisional board or a group committee. You will be expected to contribute your expertise, skills and knowledge to support the operation of the UCEN Manchester Divisional Board or the Audit & Risk Committee and ensure the work is done efficiently and effectively.
As such, we are seeking candidates who are experts in their chosen fields and can demonstrate a strong interest in all aspects of the LTE Group’s broad provision, including further and higher education. Commitments to lifelong learning, high-quality education and training, and equality and diversity are all essential.
For the UCEN Manchester Divisional Board we are seeking candidates with senior leadership experience in the English higher education system, who have knowledge of OfS and TEF frameworks.
For the Audit & Risk Committee, we are seeking candidates with professional expertise and experience in cyber security.
Candidates for both roles must be able to work positively with others and contribute as a team member, have the ability to make reasoned decisions and be willing to contribute to establishing and monitoring performance at a strategic level.

About Care for Veterans
Care for Veterans (CfV) was established in 1919 as the Queen Alexandra Hospital Home to care for soldiers returning from World War I with life-changing disabilities. For over 100 years, it has provided long term nursing, rehabilitation, respite and end of life care to Veterans and their families. The 62-bed home has been at Gifford House in Worthing since 1933.
CfV are seeking a Trustee with a finance and/or accountancy background, preferably with an ACCA/ICAEW qualification (or equivalent). The successful candidate will join and in time, chair the Finance Committee.
What will you be doing?
ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Contributing at four board meetings, a strategy offsite and four Finance sub-committee meetings a year. These are usually held during business hours in Worthing.
- Develop a good understanding of CfV’s operations and the environment in which it operates;
- Monitor the performance of CfV in a constructive and inquisitive way;
- Making their time, skills, and experience available to CfV and its executive (in and outside of regular board meetings) and supporting key fundraising events;
- Average time commitment is 12-15 days per year
What are we looking for?
- You will have a background and/or qualification in finance or accountancy (ACCA/ICAEW or equivalent preferred). You will have strong commitment to the improving the lives of veterans and the work of CfV.
- Previous trustee experience is not necessary as new trustees will be given support and training.

Who we are
Rivers, lakes, and coastal waters across the UK are among the richest and most cherished habitats supporting diverse species of fish, mammals, insects, and plants—they are also some of the most vulnerable. Our rivers and other water bodies have historically suffered from pollution, over-abstraction, and host of other impacts which can prove devastating to fragile water ecosystems.
Fish Legal fights to protect all inland and coastal waters in the UK from pollution and other damage. We use the full range of the law—common, statutory, public, and criminal—and we have a long track record of winning cases and securing compensation to enable our members to restore their waters.
Our solicitors (both English and Scots-qualified) represent Fish Legal’s member clubs, fisheries, and riparian owners in seeking compensation from offenders who cause pollution or other damage to rivers and still waters—the compensation we win goes back to those members to carry out habitat work or re-stock the waters.
We obtain injunctions to prevent activities which threaten to damage the aquatic environment and, if broken, offenders can find themselves in contempt of court and can even be jailed.
Funds raised by Fish Legal as well as funds donated by individuals, angling clubs, and federations are effectively pooled so that no one person must foot the costs of bringing defendants to court.
Our sister organisation, the Angling Trust, is the national governing body for the sport of angling in England as well as a leading voice in the protection and enhancement of the aquatic environment—working alongside partner NGOs to advocate greater environmental protection, lobby for positive change, and influence policy development.

About this key role
As our Children, Young People and Families Volunteer Mentor, you will focus on supporting Caseworkers delivering mentoring and specialist support for children, young people and their families, with the children on the edge of entering the care system and young people at risk of violence. We will count on you to develop and maintain effective relationships with Local Authority teams and other relevant agencies, ensuring a steady flow of referrals to the project, while also working collaboratively with other professionals such as Social Care teams, professionally representing St Giles.
You will support the completion of initial needs assessments with clients, helping them to develop individual action plans and regularly review them to assess progress, carry out and review thorough risk management plans, plus provide a client-led support service that responds to individual needs, including support with housing, finances, parenting, health, ETE and criminal justice.
What we are looking for
- To have lived, personal experience of the Care System, Criminal Justice System, and/or being involved in a gang or knife crime.
- Knowledge of anti-discriminatory working practices, and the implications of both within the working environment.
- Practical application of diversity awareness and unconscious bias in employment.

Islington SASS (Solace Advocacy and Support Service) offers vital on-going support to survivors, helping them to rebuild their lives through advice, advocacy & support. We are looking for enthusiastic volunteers to join our team.
Our teams offer support to those affected by domestic and sexual violence in their community. Our teams supply information, advocacy and specialist services to increase service users’ safety and meet a range of needs – these can include ongoing safety concerns, emotional or housing support, reporting to the police, legal options and support through court, help around child contact, benefits and financial advice. As well as providing direct assistance, we also work to build capacity and develop expertise amongst professionals and agencies.
About the role
Islington SASS is a busy service, which receives many referrals every day. You will be supporting our duty team to process referrals and key admin work. If you are interested, you can also be trained to contact clients, making initial welcome or check in calls. You will be in the office in Camden one day a week on a Tuesday or Friday to support with this.

Leicestershire and Rutland Wildlife Trust is the leading conservation membership charity in our two counties, and as we work to implement our ambitious new strategy for nature recovery in Leicestershire and Rutland, our Council needs to reflect a wide range of skills and expertise.
We are therefore looking for enthusiastic and committed people who share our values and vision to join our Trustee Council. All relevant experience will be considered, but in this round of recruitment, we would be particularly interested in hearing from applicants who have skills, knowledge and experience in one or more of the following areas:
• Public relations and media
• Conservation management policy and/or practice
• Community outreach and youth engagement
• Large-scale grant funding
• Big Data management, visualisation and impact measurement.
Our Trustees (who are also company directors) work collectively on the Council with responsibility for governing and directing how the Trust is managed and run. The roles are voluntary and unpaid and, whilst prior experience of the trustee role is not required (and training is available), we are looking for people who are willing and able to commit time to both a programme of regular meetings and ongoing engagement in a range of Trustee Council activities.

Volunteer Mini Bus Helpers needed for Mini Hours: Tuesday – Friday 8.45am to 10:15am and 3pm to 5pm
Depending on your time available to volunteer these hours can be a role-share with another volunteer or volunteers. Any help on any days and any hours you can give will be appreciated.
Why Volunteer for this role:This would be an interesting sociable role meeting older people in the surrounding villages around Godalming, Milford, Chiddingfold, Witley, Elstead, Wormley and you would meet the local people bringing them from and back to their homes.
Role purpose: Volunteer helpers needed for our Mini-bus reaching out to local areas in our Community bringing passengers/guests, to and from their homes, to the Clockhouse Community Centre, Chapel Lane Milford.
You will be friendly and enjoy meeting people and you will travel in local areas on the minibus with the Driver. You will be monitoring the passengers letting the driver know of any issues.

Would suit retired people, people who work part-time, students (18+), job seekers, or anyone that can spare a morning and / or afternoon on any day from Tuesday to Friday, when our minibus is running.
You do not need a driving licence, just the mobility to get on and off the bus at the many stops and help people get on board. We appreciate your help.

About Coram Voice
Coram Voice exists to enable and equip children and young people to hold the system to account, to challenge and support it to do its job properly and to uphold the rights of children and young people to actively participate in shaping their own lives.
About the role
Our volunteers champion the rights of young people in care and on the edges of care, support them to access advocacy and make their voices heard. Training is provided. Whether you are currently studying, recently graduated, working part-time, retired or between jobs, volunteering with Coram Voice is a great opportunity to make a difference at the same time as gaining experience of working for a national children’s rights charity.
Our Helpline Supervisors will support you to develop valuable advocacy skills and knowledge of children’s rights and we offer specialist training in safeguarding, equality and diversity and advocacy. This training and other resources will help you to prepare for the role. You will be joining a team that provides quality support to young people in a friendly and supportive environment.
Our volunteer team is integral to our service and we could not provide the service we do without them, particularly in terms of the support we offer to homeless children.
We believe this role will be of particular interest to anyone looking to develop a career involving giving advice, advocacy, children’s and human rights, legal work, social work or youth work; or for professionals in those fields who want to use their experience to support the work of a children’s charity.
