AkiOke Music Club is a grassroots charity passionate about empowering adults with a heap of abilities and talents through music. We provide safe, fun, and inclusive weekly singing sessions, using karaoke and music-making to encourage participation, build friendships, and boost confidence.

To grow and sustain our work, we rely on charitable grants, trusts, and other funding opportunities. We’re now looking for enthusiastic volunteers to join our fundraising team. Whether you’re new to the sector and keen to contribute your skills, or an experienced professional who wants to make a real difference, we have a role for you.

Level the Playing Field in Development (LPFDev)

Level the Playing Field in Development (LPFDev) is a volunteer-led community challenging harmful narratives and practices in the global development sector through a decolonial lens. By addressing entrenched colonial structures, LPFDev advocates for equity, anti-racism, and decolonisation approaches that move beyond theory into practical solutions. The initiative fosters collective intentionality within the development community, creating safe spaces for open, candid dialogue while promoting more inclusive and just practices. Volunteers are welcomed with openness and creativity, encouraged to contribute their skills, learn collaboratively, and help reshape development into a field rooted in fairness, dignity, and shared global responsibility.

Outreach Coordination (Climate Justice Monitoring)

Assist in expanding LPFDev’s climate justice network by identifying and engaging with stakeholders, event organisers, and partner organizations. Facilitate collaboration opportunities and ensure LPFDev is informed about upcoming relevant climate forums.

Key Responsibilities:

• Scout and track upcoming climate-related events globally and regionally
• Contact event organizers to explore monitoring and collaboration opportunities
• Build and maintain a stakeholder engagement database
• Support communication efforts to grow LPFDev’s outreach and visibility

Skills & Experience:

• Strong organisational and interpersonal skills
• Experience in event coordination or community outreach
• Proficiency in email communication and online research
• Passion for climate justice and ethical engagement

We are seeking an enthusiastic individual to encourage people to join our charity. You’ll organize and run engaging Introduction training sessions to welcome new members. The role involves seeking and managing recruitment opportunities, such as hosting stalls at recruitment fairs and Open Days. You’ll also motivate trainees to complete essential training and attend their first event. We’re looking for a charismatic, organized go-getter with excellent communication skills and a passion for building community.

By securing funding, you’ll help accelerate the launch and scale of Waste Lens™ — an agentic-native, behavior automation platform designed to make diverting waste away from landfill into circular and commerce markets feel effortless.

What You’ll Do:

�� Scout Opportunities — Research and identify relevant grants and other non-dilutive funding avenues across federal, state, local, public, private, nonprofit, and foundation sources in cleantech, climate tech, circular economy, waste reduction, food waste, textiles, AI, and municipal sectors.

�� Build the Calendar — Develop and maintain a calendar of deadlines, requirements, and strategic priorities, organized by funding size, fit, and speed to access.

✍️ Write to Win — Draft compelling, story- and data-driven applications that highlights Waste Lens™’ unique value proposition, market opportunity, and impact potential.

�� Tailor Every Submission — Ensure each application is customized to the specific funder’s focus and criteria (no copy-paste one-size-fits-all).

�� Track & Engage — Monitor application status and advise Founder on how to strengthen our applications through your experience.

You’ll also build relationships with local supermarkets and businesses to tap into their fundraising programs. Additionally, you’ll empower community members by supporting their fundraising efforts. We’re looking for a creative, organized go-getter with strong communication skills and a passion for making a difference.

We are searching for an enthusiastic, hard working volunteer to take on President’s responsibility and oversee the chapter in LONDON. They will run the chapter and ultimately be responsible for activities carried out by committee members and volunteers. The President must coordinate with their committee to ensure that all of the needs of the charity are met and the law, constitution and handbook are not broken.

Events Officer has the responisbility of organising (along with the help of a Trustee Events Manager) our magical visits to children/adults with LD, this could be at the hospital, social groups, refugee centres, libraries etc etc.

They will monitor the chapter email for submitted event booking forms (some of these will come from events organised by the Events Manager on Trustees). These will then be added to the calendar and advertised to volunteers. They will ensure each event organised has a handful of volunteers confirmed within a week of the event itself. They will then provide information and support to a Lead Volunteer to run the events. They will ensure that regular events are being attended by volunteers and that they have the costume and materials that are needed for these. They will follow up after events to ensure social media posts are made, hours are uploaded and that costumes are returned. They will ensure that all volunteers are attending events.

The VP's role is to aid the president with all of their responsibilities in overseeing the chapter. VP might help run the chapter and become responsible for some activities. Helping to coordinate their committee to ensure that all of the needs of the charity are met and the law, constitution and handbook are not broken.

The Town and Country Planning Association (TCPA) is looking to appoint up to two new Trustees and if you answered a resounding ‘yes’ to the questions above then these could be the roles for you!

The built and natural environment have profound impacts on people’s health, wellbeing and life chances and we also face climate, nature, housing and health crises. The work of the TCPA is, therefore, more important than ever.

To support our important work we are looking to broaden the skills and range of perspectives on our Board of Trustees. You do not need to be an expert in town planning or have a background working in the built environment sector. We are particularly interested in candidates who believe in the importance of the work we do and have experience in one or more of the following areas:

• Charity fundraising and new business development
• Charity governance
• Operational elements of running a small charity
• Campaigning and communications

They will run the chapter and ultimately be responsible for activities carried out by committee members and volunteers. The President must coordinate with their committee to ensure that all of the needs of the charity are met and the law, constitution and handbook are not broken.

· Co-ordinating a programme of meetings including an AGM, branch meetings, committee meetings, training etc..
