We are looking for up to 3 new Trustees to join us and help run our successful charity.
We are looking for candidates who have experience/expertise in one or more of the following areas:
General management
Finance/bookkeeping
Safeguarding
Premises/facilities
Fundraising
HR
You will take the lead in your area of expertise and be able to commit time to deliver on initiatives or projects related to your specialism.
In addition you will have:
Good written and verbal communication skills
Attention to detail with the ability to work under own initiative within a defined framework.
MS Office skills: Word; Excel; PowerPoint and SharePoint.
The Ryan Neuro Therapy Centre supports people with neurological conditions by delivering physiotherapy and other therapies to benefit their health and welfare in a caring, friendly, and supportive environment. We are a small self-funded charity in Coulsdon, reliant entirely on fundraising and donations to provide the income needed each year to run the Centre. The organisation took on charitable status in 1995 supporting people living with Multiple Sclerosis. In 2023, we expanded our provision to support other neurological conditions. The Charity has 18 members of staff (all part-time), 15 volunteers and over 100 members with neurological conditions.
The Ryan Neuro Therapy Centre supports people with neurological conditions by delivering physiotherapy and other therapies.

We’re recruiting multiple trustees, so we don’t expect to find one superhuman! You don’t need prior trustee experience; just bring your passion! Trustees are volunteer (unpaid) committee members who guide charities and shape their direction. It’s fulfilling and flexible!
This role fits easily alongside your home life and career, requiring just 20 hours per year, with meetings held online. We provide extensive support, accessible meetings, and a warm, welcoming environment.

Sooty, the famous loveable bear and national treasure, has featured on RNIB’s collection boxes for more than 50 years. With your support, RNIB has raised more than £13 million in public donations collected in our iconic Sooty boxes.
Join our community of amazing volunteer Sooty box collectors and help us to provide blind and partially sighted people with the support they need. RNIB urgently needs volunteers to collect and bank donations received through our Sooty boxes, which play a vital role in generating income and raising our profile in local communities. This role is completely flexible, can be performed by individuals, pairs or groups and the time you dedicate to it is entirely up to you and your commitments. You can give your time as little or as often as you like!
Please note: Volunteers will be expected to use their own transportation and ideally should have access to a car. Mileage or transport costs will be reimbursed.

Bid writer wanted to help the Orpington & Bromley Gateway Club and Bromley Learning Disability Alliance to secure funding for a range of amibitious projects across the London Borough of Bromley.
The Orpington & Bromley Gateway Club is a support and social club for adults (16+) with learning disabilities/difficulties.
We currently run two clubs: Tuesday Club in Orpington from 1030-1330 and Friday Club in Bickley from 1830-2100.

Alex, The Leukodystrophy Charity (Alex TLC) is a small, independent rare disease charity competing for essential resources within an extremely competitive arena.
Like many other small charities, we have grown organically from an informal support group to the recognised voice for leukodystrophy patients and their families. In order to fulfil our charitable objectives we need to increase and sustain our corporate income levels.
Could you spare a few hours a week to help us?
ABOUT THE ROLE
We are looking for volunteers, preferably with corporate fundraising experience to:
• research the corporate giving landscape and the interests of potential donors
• identify potential corporate donors and partners whose corporate social responsibility (CSR) goals align with our mission and values
• approach local and national businesses in person and over the telephone to inform them of the work of Alex TLC
• keep a record of all approaches
Time Commitment
• This role is flexible and can easily fit round your other commitments.
