As an Outreach volunteer you will be assisting outreach workers to support Romanes or Romanian speaking clients face-to-face or over the phone. Other tasks involved in this role will include helping clients access support around immigration, employment, reconnections, and accommodation, to have a good understanding of the Roma communities and have knowledge of the UK EUSS requirements while understanding the rights clients have with pre settled statues and settled statues. For this role it is required that you can speak Romanes or Romanian fluently or to a high level.
In this role, you will be supporting us with some or all of the following tasks:
• Assisting outreach workers to support Romanes or Romanian speaking clients face to-face or over the phone.
• Engaging with rough sleepers who have been referred via StreetLink and those known to the team, supporting the key worker with general assessments
• Helping clients access support around immigration, employment and reconnections and accommodation.
• Working together with the outreach worker and divide tasks where appropriate, such as accompanying clients to appointments
• Supporting outreach workers with navigation and note taking.
• Engaging with rough sleeping clients with sensitivity and respect.
• Adhering to St Mungo’s Policies and Procedures at all times.
• Promoting St Mungo’s work in an appropriate manner.
• Actively promoting equality, diversity and inclusion among staff, fellow volunteers and clients.

Crosslight Advice is a debt advice and money education charity which works to lift people out of poverty and help them build a better future.
Our Financial Capability arm consists of our Money Course and Budget Coaching programme, and we are always looking for new volunteers to act as Budget Coaches, either face-to-face in one of our branches, or remotely via video or phone appointments.
Budget Coaches work with individual clients – often those who have completed a Money Course, or those who are being supported by Crosslight with debt issues – to help them apply simple money skills and budgeting techniques in a practical way to their own unique situation.
During a structured programme of up to four two-hour sessions over several months, you will work closely with clients to guide, support and encourage them as they journey to greater financial confidence and resilience.

Required commitment:
- Volunteer for approximately 8 hours over a two-month period per Budget Coaching client taken on
- Attend quarterly Budget Coaching forums and an annual safeguarding refresher
- Participate in quarterly Crosslight Get Together and Learn sessions and other training as appropriate

Job description
Team Up is looking for dynamic volunteer tutors to help transform the life chances of underachieving pupils from disadvantaged backgrounds.
About Team Up
Team Up tutor disadvantaged children in Maths and English to double their progress, help them gain confidence and improve their future prospects. We do this with the help of inspirational volunteer tutors, alongside a team of qualified professionals.
We partner with schools across London to deliver our 10-12 week tuition programme during the Autumn, Spring and Summer school terms. Tutors receive training and ongoing support from their programme manager throughout the programme. Our programma managers attend each session with the volunteers and liaise with the partner to ensure the programme runs smoothly.
About the role
You will be matched to a small number of pupils and we will supply you with training and materials to deliver engaging tuition sessions. Your tutor group will consist of up to four pupils of a similar level who are currently underperforming and provide them with the academic support and encouragement they need to get back on track.

Emetophobia is an intense phobia of vomiting and significantly impacts the lives of those who suffer the condition. Experience of the charity sector is preferable but not required. This is a voluntary position and the work pattern is remote with flexible hours. Walworth Golden Oldies is an independent charity - set up in 1991 – which through active fundraising has, over the years, been providing friendship and a welcoming space through a programme of activities, advice and support, to senior members of our community living in and around Walworth, Southwark - particularly those of Caribbean or other overseas backgrounds, but not exclusively so.
The ideal candidate will need to have good communication skills; be able to show confident leadership; have an understanding of charity governance and be able to bring an ability to chair Board meetings and to work positively with our part-time team members and volunteers.
Experience of working with / supporting elderly people, and/or within a multi-cultural context would be an advantage.

The Director of Service Delivery will take a strategic lead for the management of organizational output and service delivery. The incumbent will ensure that key departments with responsibility for delivering our work are performing to a high standard, that the organization is developing and the output related process and policies are working well, and that support is offered to departmental heads and management where needed.
Duties

Important expectations
