Honour Thy Woman Group offers a wide range of support services designed to meet the emotional, practical, and social needs of women recovering from domestic abuse. Our programmes combine professional guidance with peer-led care, flexible delivery methods, and a focus on long-term wellbeing.

What will you be doing?

By sharing your professional skills and financial insight, you will help ensure we continue delivering personalised support, practical advice and ongoing care to the women and children we support.

Our new Treasurer will be a key member of the Board of Trustees, responsible for providing strategic financial oversight and ensuring that Honour Thy Woman Group manages its resources responsibly, transparently, and in line with UK charity law.

Our Treasurer will regularly report to the Board of Trustees on the organisation’s financial position and overall financial health. The Treasurer will also ensure that robust and appropriate financial controls, systems, and procedures are in place and operating effectively.

While the Treasurer holds specific responsibility for financial oversight, all Trustees remain jointly and severally responsible for the governance and administration of the Charity and share collective accountability and liability.

We’re seeking a new Treasurer with the following attributes: 

· Financial literacy and confidence with budgets.

· Ability to interpret financial information and explain it clearly.

· A qualified accountant (or equivalent, qualified by experience), ideally with experience in charity                finance. Training will be provided where experience of charity finance is not already in place.

· Strong attention to detail and organisational skills Integrity, independence, and sound judgement                Commitment to the charity’s mission, values, and safeguarding standards.

As Treasurer, you will play a vital role in safeguarding the financial health of our organisation. Your professional insight will help us manage resources responsibly, strengthen our sustainability, and ensure that our services continue to reach those who need them most.

Time commitment

Attending 4 annual online Board meetings of an evening. Attendance of ad-hoc Advisory Group meetings and optional event attendance. Trustees should also allocate time to read and respond to emails.

The overall Time Commitment is estimated at approximately 8–10 hours per month, plus quarterly Board meetings.

Volunteers needed for the friendliest club in London!

Can you spare two hours a week to work with some of the friendliest, welcoming people

you’ll ever meet? If so, then please come and help our volunteers organise fun, engaging

activities at our ever-growing club for people with learning disabilities. No previous experience

is needed; you just need a caring attitude and sense of fun!

Our club is split into two age groups: 14-25 years and 25 years +. You have a chance to make a real

difference to either group by creating new experiences, helping our members to grow in

confidence, build friendships and learn new skills. Our specialist club leaders will support and

train you, and you’ll benefit from working in a very rewarding environment!

⚖️ About the Role

We are seeking a Volunteer Solicitor with experience in family law, safeguarding, or domestic abuse-related legal matters to provide initial legal guidance, signposting, and referrals to vulnerable individuals supported by Guardian Light Foundation.

This role is advisory and supportive, not high-volume casework. Your expertise will help people understand their rights, options, and next steps at critical moments in their lives.

• Working closely with GLF’s safeguarding and support teams

• Maintaining clear professional boundaries and ethical practice

This role is pivotal in connecting our technical infrastructure with the operational and community-facing needs of the organisation, ensuring our open-source membership platform and systems function seamlessly to support survivors, marginalised communities and emerging leaders.

About the role:

As the Technical Systems & Platform Liaison, you will act as the bridge between the CIC’s technical teams, leadership, and community members. You will ensure that digital systems are effectively implemented, maintained, and optimised to serve our mission. This is a hands-on, multi-faceted role combining strategic coordination, operational oversight, and community engagement, providing you with unique experience in systems management and collaborative leadership.

Experience Qualification and Requirements

Essential Technical Competencies:

• Experience in digital platform management, IT operations, systems administration or similar roles where platform functionality and user support were key responsibilities.
• Ability to monitor system performance, identify issues and implement improvements to ensure reliability, scalability and security.
• Act as a liaison between technical teams and end-users to communicate requirements, issues and solutions effectively. 
• Ensure that technical systems and platforms operate efficiently, securely and meet organisational needs.
