Office Volunteer
Office Volunteer
People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) is seeking an administrative volunteer to assist at its London office, in King’s Cross. This opportunity is ideal for someone interested in office administration and gaining experience within a nonprofit organisation dedicated to changing the way society views and treats animals.
The volunteer will support the daily operations of PETA’s London office, including assisting with administrative tasks, collecting and organising supplies, preparing mailings, supporting the Fur Amnesty programme, conducting research, and helping with other projects that contribute to the smooth running of the organisation. Training will be provided and the volunteer will also have the chance to learn how different departments work together to support PETA’s campaigns. This opportunity is particularly well-suited to individuals looking to gain practical experience in the charity sector, and who are willing to commit to volunteering on a weekly basis, ideally one day a week, for a period of at least 3 months.
We’re looking for someone who is organised, proactive, dependable, and comfortable communicating with a variety of people. Commitment to PETA’s mission and adherence to a vegan lifestyle are strongly preferred.
Although this is an unpaid volunteer opportunity, PETA will reimburse travel costs to and from the office (within London).
The client requests no contact from agencies or media sales.
