Job description

As an Empowerment Volunteer, you will work within our fantastic Wellbeing Coach Team. Our team of coaches work in a range of different settings, including GP’s surgeries, job centres and workplaces to help people feel happier and healthier by identifying wellbeing and lifestyle goals and the barriers that are preventing them from being reached. As an Empowerment Volunteer your role will involve supporting the Wellbeing Coach Team. You will empower clients – encouraging them to become more confident with everyday activities; to do this you may accompany them to community groups, GP or job centre appointments, help them complete their weekly shopping or simply go out with them for a coffee.

You will receive full training on how to manage professional relationships, how to signpost individuals, manage difficult conversations and how to input relevant data. You will be invited to attend team meetings and have regular group or 1-2-1 supervisions.
