We’re looking for a Volunteer Social Media Coordinator to help bring ArtClusiv’s message to life online.
You’ll be responsible for liaising with the marketing team and posting pre-created content on ArtClusiv’s social platforms (mainly Instagram and TikTok). You’ll also play a key role in ensuring that our social media activity reflects current trends, algorithms, and audience engagement strategies.

At Watford & Three Rivers Refugee Partnership, our objective is to provide practical and emotional support, ultimately helping our clients achieve a sustainable position as full members of our society. Many of our clients are destitute, homeless and have no access to assistance from the government. Our mission is to provide access to advice and essential services until statutory services are in place.

Volunteering as a Social Media Officer provides an opportunity for you to help promote the charity to current and potential clients as well as the wider community, which could attract donors and other volunteers. As well as this it will be a way for you to develop your social media and computer skills, gain experience volunteering for a charity and also it will be an interesting addition to your CV!

Full training will be given on starting the role, including safeguarding, as well as regular training sessions and continual support from other volunteers.

· Updating the charity’s Facebook, X and Instagram pages regularly (ideally at least weekly).

Global Social Club (GSC) is the UK’s first Youth Club of Sanctuary. It’s a space of welcome for young people aged 14-25 from around the city and around the world.  GSC is centred on fun, friendship, creativity & celebrating diversity. It’s a warm and inclusive space for young people to connect and share experiences. 

We are looking for people who are happy to lend a hand and who are…

• Aged 23 and above.  

• Able to connect with young people with warmth and ease, forming positive relationships.

• Willing to participate fully in GSC sessions including games & activities.

• Additionally, we are also interested in hearing from people who have experience of and are keen to have a particular focus on helping young people to prepare food. If you are interested in a role with a cooking focus, please do indicate this on your application form.

We are striving to develop a team that is more representative of the young people we serve. This means we particularly welcome applications from people with lived experiences of racism, migration, displacement or being a refugee. 

Volunteers should be able to commit to coming weekly on a Monday between 4.30-8.30pm for at least 6 months. If you are interested please read our Volunteer Information Pack and fill out an application form and we will be in touch!

The difference you will make to cats and people

Our social media volunteers use their passion and knowledge of social media to promote the activities of local volunteer teams though various channels. They directly help cats by raising awareness of Cats Protection. A higher profile can help us raise the funds we need for our work, ensure people know they can adopt a cat from us, help promote neutering and help as many people as possible learn more about feline welfare.

What we need from you

You'll be:

• Promoting the work of Cats Protection through various social media channels, for example, Facebook, Instagram and Twitter
• Gathering information from across the organisation and locally within your team or volunteer group
• Writing and creating social media content, ensuring it complies with policies and guidelines
• Scheduling and posting social media content
• Monitoring activity and responding to comments on social media channels
