SUNSHINE is a grassroots, heart‑led London charity dedicated to tackling loneliness with warmth, dignity, and joy. We create uplifting community spaces where people feel seen, valued, and connected — and we’re ready to grow.

To take our mission to the next level, we’re seeking a Fundraising Trustee to lead our fundraising strategy, champion new income streams, and guide our grant‑writing efforts with creativity and purpose.

What You’ll Lead

As our Fundraising Trustee, you will:

• Lead SUNSHINE’s fundraising strategy, shaping a clear, ethical, and inspiring income plan.

• Drive grant‑writing efforts, identifying opportunities and crafting compelling applications.

• Support the Board with insight into fundraising trends and opportunities.

• Develop new income streams, from community fundraising to partnerships.

• Champion a culture of generosity, storytelling, and donor appreciation.

• Ensure fundraising aligns with Charity Commission guidance and best practice.

• Help SUNSHINE grow, enabling us to reach more people experiencing loneliness.

Who We’re Looking For

You’ll thrive in this role if you:

• Have experience in fundraising, grant writing, or income generation.

• Can craft compelling narratives that inspire funders and partners.

• Understand (or are keen to learn) charity fundraising regulations.

• Care deeply about community, connection, and wellbeing.

• Want to use your skills to create real, measurable social impact.
