Your Role: Head of Fundraising & Partnerships

This isn’t just any volunteer role — this is your chance to help build the engine that powers a brand‑new charity.

As our Head of Fundraising & Partnerships, you’ll lead the development of our fundraising strategy, build meaningful relationships with supporters, and create partnerships that help SUNSHINE grow. You’ll be the connector, the storyteller, the “let’s make this happen” energy behind our external support.

You don’t need to be a seasoned fundraiser — just someone who loves people, loves purpose, and loves inspiring others to get involved.

What You’ll Be Doing

You’ll help us grow our support and impact by:

• Leading SUNSHINE’s fundraising strategy (campaigns, donors, community fundraising, events)

• Building warm, meaningful relationships with supporters and partners

• Identifying and developing partnerships with local organisations, businesses and funders

• Creating uplifting fundraising campaigns that inspire people to give

• Working closely with the Director of Growth & External Affairs on marketing and visibility

• Helping shape our public storytelling and supporter communications

• Bringing fresh ideas to the table (we LOVE ideas)

• Ensuring our fundraising is ethical, inclusive and full of sunshine

• Being a warm, friendly presence for everyone who supports our mission
