Your Role: Head of Insight & Impact

This isn’t just any volunteer role — this is your chance to help shape how SUNSHINE learns, grows and understands the difference we make.

As our Head of Insight & Impact, you’ll help us gather stories, feedback and data from our community. You’ll help us understand what’s working, what people need, and how our programmes help people feel less alone. You’ll turn insight into action, helping us improve, evolve and stay rooted in real human experience.

You’ll be the listener, the learner, the meaning‑maker — the “let’s understand this deeply” energy behind our growth.

What You’ll Be Doing

You’ll help us build a learning‑led, people‑centred charity by:

• Developing simple, friendly ways to gather feedback and insight.

• Listening to participants, volunteers and partners to understand their experiences.

• Helping us measure the impact of our programmes in warm, human ways.

• Turning stories and data into learning we can act on.

• Supporting the CEO and leadership team with insight‑driven decision‑making.

• Helping shape our impact framework as we grow.

• Bringing fresh ideas to the table (we LOVE ideas).

• Making sure our learning is inclusive, ethical and rooted in kindness.

• Helping us tell the story of SUNSHINE’s impact in a meaningful way.

You don’t need to be a data expert — just someone who cares deeply about people and loves understanding what helps them thrive.
