SUNSHINE is almost ready to launch. Our charity status is imminent, our foundations are strong, and our first pilot programmes are just around the corner. Now we’re looking for a brilliant, thoughtful, impact‑minded leader to help shape the services we deliver — and ensure they truly brighten people’s lives.

About SUNSHINE

SUNSHINE is London’s new volunteer‑powered movement for connection, belonging, and brighter days. Our symbol is a yellow fingerprint heart — because every person is unique, every story matters, and every act of kindness leaves a mark.

We’re building a charity that feels human, joyful, grassroots, and full of warmth — and we need someone who can help shape the services at the heart of our mission.

The ROLE

As our Volunteer Head of Services, Programmes and Impact, you’ll help design, refine, and prepare the delivery of SUNSHINE’s first community programmes — ensuring they are safe, simple, joyful, and genuinely impactful.

You’ll help us:

• Shape and finalise our pilot programmes across London.
• Turn our ideas into clear, human‑centred service models.
• Ensure our activities feel warm, inclusive, and accessible.
• Build simple, meaningful ways to measure impact (without losing the heart).
• Support volunteer‑led delivery in parks, libraries, estates, and community venues.
• Gather stories, insights, and learning to help SUNSHINE grow.
• Make sure our services are safe, smooth, and ready for launch.

This is a role for someone who loves designing experiences that make people feel seen, supported, and connected.

Who YOU ARE

You’re someone who cares deeply about people and knows how to turn a mission into real‑world programmes that change lives.

You might be perfect if you:

• Have experience in service design, programme development, community work, or impact measurement.
• Love shaping activities that feel warm, simple, and human.
• Understand how to balance structure with creativity.
• Can design light‑touch, meaningful ways to capture impact.
