We’re searching for someone special

Someone who understands that loneliness isn’t solved with quick fixes — it’s eased through presence, consistency, and kindness. Someone who knows that creating safe, welcoming spaces can change the course of a person’s day, week, or life. Someone who can help us design, deliver, and grow services that bring people together and help them feel less alone.

As our Loneliness Services Manager (Volunteer), you will lead, manage, and oversee all our loneliness‑focused programmes. You’ll help us build services that feel warm, human, and deeply supportive. You’ll ensure that every person who walks through our doors feels valued, welcomed, and held.

What you’ll lead or support

• Overseeing all loneliness‑focused pilot programmes and activities.

• Supporting volunteers to deliver safe, uplifting, and meaningful sessions.

• Ensuring our services are inclusive, compassionate, and rooted in best practice.

• Gathering feedback from participants and using it to shape continuous improvement.

• Co‑producing new services with our community, based on real needs and lived experiences.

• Helping SUNSHINE Charity build a network of connection, belonging, and emotional support.

• Contributing to the long‑term vision of how our loneliness services grow and evolve.
