Job Description

We are looking for a Volunteer Data & Performance Officer to help track and analyse how our digital campaigns and platforms are performing.

You will help collect and interpret data to understand what content and activities are engaging our community and supporting our mission. The insights you provide will help teams improve campaigns, outreach and supporter engagement.

You will work with the Digital Marketing Director and Digital Marketing team to monitor performance across websites, social media and digital campaigns.

This role focuses on analytics, reporting and turning data into useful insights for the team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Track performance across digital campaigns, websites and social media platforms
  • Monitor key metrics such as engagement, reach, sign-ups and conversions
  • Create simple reports and dashboards to share insights with the team
  • Translate data into clear recommendations for improving campaigns
  • Ensure data is handled responsibly and follows GDPR and data protection guidelines
  • Work with campaign and fundraising teams to measure the impact of activities
  • Help develop simple systems for ongoing analytics and performance tracking

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience or interest in data analysis, digital analytics or performance reporting
  • Familiarity with tools such as Google Analytics, social media insights or spreadsheets
  • Ability to interpret data and explain insights clearly to non-technical teams
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accurate data handling
  • Understanding of data protection and GDPR principles
  • Comfort collaborating with a remote volunteer team
  • Experience in nonprofits, digital campaigns or impact measurement is helpful but not required
