Urban Youth – Volunteer Admin Manager Wanted

Help us build the foundations of a youth charity that young Londoners will feel proud to call theirs.

We’re so excited to be launching Urban Youth — a brand new London youth work charity created to give young people experiences, opportunities, and the space to discover themselves and the world around them. This is a youth community built on care, creativity, belonging and real connection… and now we’re looking for someone brilliant to help us keep everything running smoothly behind the scenes.

We’re searching for our first amazing Admin Manager — someone organised, reliable, warm, and ready to support our Founder & CEO and the whole team as we set up, launch and grow Urban Youth.

This isn’t a dry, corporate admin role. It’s varied, hands‑on, and full of purpose. You’ll be helping us build the systems, processes and structure that will shape Urban Youth from day one.

What you’ll be helping us create

With our Founder & CEO and wider team, you’ll help us build:

• simple, effective systems that keep everything running smoothly.

• policies, processes and procedures that support our work and keep young people safe.

• an organised infrastructure that grows with the charity.

• clear correspondence and communication behind the scenes.

• smooth logistics for meetings, events and day‑to‑day operations.

• tidy, accessible filing and admin systems that everyone can rely on.

This is more than a volunteer role — it’s a chance to help shape the backbone of a youth movement that will support young people for years to come.

Who we’re looking for

Someone who:

• loves organisation, structure and making things run well.

• enjoys admin, systems, processes and all the behind‑the‑scenes magic.

• can support with correspondence, scheduling, meeting prep and minute‑taking.

• is comfortable helping to set up policies, procedures and admin infrastructure.

• is reliable, friendly and happy working closely with our Founder & CEO.

• wants to use their skills to make a real difference in London.
