Help deliver fun, safe, supportive sessions for young people in London
About the project: We are launching a pop‑up youth service for young people in London. We are looking for an Assistant Youth Worker to support session delivery and help create a positive environment for young people.
The role: You will support the Youth Worker and founder by:
-
Welcoming young people and helping them feel comfortable
-
Assisting with activities, games, and workshops
-
Helping maintain a safe, inclusive space
-
Supporting young people one‑to‑one or in small groups
-
Helping with basic admin, set‑up, and pack‑down
-
Observing and feeding back any concerns or ideas
Who this role suits: Someone friendly, patient, and enthusiastic about supporting young people. No previous youth work experience is required — just a willingness to learn and a supportive attitude.
Accessibility & support: This role is ideal for someone who enjoys being part of a team. The founder experiences anxiety and dyslexia, so clear communication and a calm, supportive approach are appreciated.
Time commitment: Flexible — 2–4 hours per session, weekly or fortnightly.
