Job description

Build the visual identity of a new urban youth movement

Urban Youth is a brand new start-up London-based, volunteer-powered youth collective taking youth work back to the streets — pop‑ups in estates, parks, unused spaces, anywhere young people already are. We move fast, cut the red tape, and create high‑impact, short-term projects that build confidence, skills, and community.

We’re building a brand that feels like a youth brand of itsself, urban styledminimalist, and unmistakably street. Heavy sans-serif type, black-and-white logo with a sharp accent of yellow. A brand young people feel proud to wear — not a corporate youth service badge.

We need a Graphic Designer who can help us bring that identity to life.

What you’ll do

  • Create a bold, urban visual identity for Urban Youth, rooted in black, white, and yellow.

  • Design a logo that feels wearable, iconic, and movement‑ready.

  • Develop a brand style and guidelines that volunteers can use across social, print, merch, and pop‑up spaces.

  • Shape the look and feel of our street‑level youth projects, from posters to signage to digital assets.

  • Work closely with our Founder to ensure the brand stays authentic, raw, and youth‑centred.

What we’re looking for

  • A designer with a strong eye for minimalist, high‑contrast, urban aesthetics.

  • Someone who understands urban youth culture and can translate it into a brand that feels real, not corporate.

  • Experience with logo design, typography, and brand systems.

  • Ability to create assets that work across digital and physical environments.

  • A collaborator who cares about accessibility, inclusion, and impact.
