YOUTH PROGRAMME MANAGER (VOLUNTEER ROLE)

URBAN YOUTH is a bold new grassroots youth work charity in inner London, creating vibrant, screen‑free spaces where young people connect with inspiring adult role models, build confidence, and discover who they can become.
We’re building something big, a community, a family, a London-born youth culture rooted in positivity, creativity and belonging.
To make that happen, we’re looking for an inspiring Youth Programme Manager to design, lead and deliver a range of positive youth work activities that get young people off their screens and fully engaged with each other.
WHAT YOU’LL LEAD
As our Youth Programme Manager, you’ll shape the heart of Urban Youth’s offer. You’ll:

Create and implement a vibrant programme of youth activities.

Design sessions that build confidence, social skills and real‑world life skills.

Lead fun, engaging, screen‑free experiences that bring young people together.

Support volunteers to deliver high‑quality youth work.

Ensure sessions are safe, inclusive and youth‑centred.

Bring energy, creativity and structure to every activity.
This is a role for someone who loves youth work, thrives on creativity, and wants to build something meaningful from the ground up.
WHO YOU ARE
We’re looking for someone who is:

Passionate about young people and positive youth development.

Experienced in youth work, mentoring or group facilitation.

Creative, organised and full of positive energy.

Confident designing and leading activities.

Excited to build a programme that boosts confidence and changes lives.

Able to volunteer a few hours a week to make a real impact.
You don’t need to be a senior manager — just someone with youth work experience, leadership instincts and a heart for young Londoners.
