Support young people at a new pop‑up youth service in London
About the project: We are creating a pop‑up youth service offering safe, welcoming spaces for young people in London. We are looking for a Youth Worker who is passionate about supporting young people’s wellbeing, confidence, and development.
The role: You will help deliver positive, engaging sessions by:
-
Supporting young people during activities, workshops, and drop‑ins
-
Building trusting, respectful relationships with young people
-
Helping create a safe, inclusive, youth‑led environment
-
Assisting with session planning and activity ideas
-
Supporting safeguarding and behaviour management
-
Helping set up and pack down pop‑up sessions
Who this role suits: Someone who enjoys working directly with young people and has a calm, supportive approach. Experience in youth work, mentoring, education, or community work is helpful but not required. Training can be provided.
Accessibility & support: The founder experiences anxiety and dyslexia, so a collaborative, patient working style is appreciated. You will be part of a small, supportive team committed to making a positive difference.
Time commitment: Flexible — ideally available for 2–4 hours per session, with sessions taking place weekly or fortnightly.
