Book partnership & sponsorship lead

Why this role matters

The Woo Cycle is a children’s picture book aimed at 4-8 year-olds. It is more than a book, it’s a tool for education, inclusion, and breaking taboos about bodies, cycles, and change. To bring it to the right audiences and ensure it’s sustainable, we need someone who can secure strategic partnerships and sponsorships. This role directly enables the book to have impact while supporting the financial viability of the project.

What you’ll do

  • Identify and approach potential partners, sponsors, and collaborators aligned with the book’s mission

  • Develop proposals and presentations to secure funding, sponsorships, and promotional opportunities

  • Build and maintain relationships with organisations, brands, and networks that can amplify the book’s reach

  • Support marketing and distribution strategy to maximise visibility and sales

  • Collaborate with the book team to align sponsorships with the project’s goals and ethics

  • Track outcomes, report on partnership success, and recommend improvements

  • Help identify additional revenue or impact-generating opportunities for the book

What we’re looking for

  • Experience in partnerships, sponsorships, business development, or fundraising

  • Strong network or ability to build relationships with organisations and brands

  • Proactive and self-driven, able to take ownership of outreach and negotiations and has time to commit

  • Excellent communication, presentation, and persuasion skills

  • Comfortable balancing impact, mission, and financial sustainability

  • Collaborative and able to work alongside creative and strategy teams
