Healthprom Volunteer Roles
We are looking for a enthusiastic and committed intern to join our small dynamic team in Kings Cross, London. This is a varied role and an excellent opportunity for somebody wishing to gain key skills and experience in the charity sector/ international development. We welcome applications from all sections of the community. The successful candidate will be provided with a full induction, structured mentoring and genuine learning and development opportunities. We are also committed to flexible working arrangements and hours to fit around other commitments.
HealthProm is a UK based charity supporting vulnerable children, women, and families disadvantaged by poor health, disability, and social exclusion. We work in Eastern Europe, Central Asia and Afghanistan and with migrant communities from the region in the UK.
Key elements of the role:
- Carrying out research and reviews of existing international documents and research papers relevant to HealthProm international and UK work
- Providing administrative support to the Director of Operations, including organising Programme Development Working group meetings and HealthProm Forum events
-Contributing to the production of documents, working papers and publications resulting from the above activities, including drafting notes and preparing background research papers
- Carrying out background research for new projects
-Liaising and building networks with past, current and potential partners, researchers, other international and local organisations
-Contributing to the organisation of internal and external meetings and events, communication, planning and evaluation.
Applicants should have interest in international development research and policy, be highly organized and motivated, and be flexible enough to adapt to changing workstream priorities.

- Knowledge of regional language desirable but not essential
