The Role 

To aid the growth of CET, an exciting Content Creation Volunteer has been introduced to increase the quality of content produced by the organisation. The role will report to the Marketing Lead and be responsible for producing marketing content with strategic intent to be used across a variety of channels to drive engagement. 

What you’ll do 

• Agree a content plan with the Marketing Lead 

• Plan and maintain production calendar 

• Writing 1 blog per month for both CET and Teach2030 

• Creating and editing videos – sourcing ideas and content from our community of teachers 

• Building 2 monthly email newsletters

What we’re looking for 

You might be a marketing professional looking to support a charitable cause, a student looking to gain experience or simply someone who wants to put skills in practice. 

• Strong written communication skills and attention to detail 

• Proficiency with a graphic design tool such as Canva and/or video editing software such as Clipchamp

To aid the growth of CET, an exciting Social Media Volunteer opportunity has been introduced to take responsibilty of the charity’s social media channels. The role will report to the Marketing Lead and will be responsible for managing all social media accounts across CET and Teach2030 with the aims of improving engagement and follower growth. 

What you’ll do 

• Agree a new social media strategy and KPIs with the Marketing Lead 

• Plan and maintain the social media calendar 

• Using our content library and Canva to produce creative, create and schedule posts, stories, and reels across Facebook, Instagram, Tik Tok and LinkedIn 

• Monitor performance and adapt content where necessary to maximise reach, engagement, and impressions. 

• Provide top-line feedback and actions to Marketing Lead monthly

The role will report to the Marketing Lead and be responsible be responsible for responding to teachers and supporters across a number of channels.

• Agree a response time SLA (service level agreement) with our Marketing Lead 

• Responding to comments and direct messages on social media platforms (potential for this to extend to Teach2030 website in second half of 2026) 

• Responding to WhatsApp messages, website tickets and emails

About Us

We are a small grassroots charity based in Southwark and the only surviving tenants’ federation in London. For decades, we have supported tenants and residents to defend their housing rights, challenge poor conditions, and have a collective voice in decisions that affect their homes and communities.

Our social housing advice service supports people facing homelessness, disrepair, evictions, and housing management issues, with a strong focus on empowerment and tenant-led action.

The Role

We are seeking a Volunteer Grant Officer to help us secure funding to sustain and grow our vital work. This role is crucial to keeping an independent, tenant-led voice alive in London.

You will work closely with a small, committed team and help ensure our advice service remains accessible to local residents.

Key Responsibilities

• Research grant funding opportunities suitable for a grassroots, tenant-led organisation
• Draft and submit grant applications to trusts, foundations, and statutory funders
• Maintain a simple funding pipeline and track deadlines

Rural Watch Africa Initiative (RUWAI) is a nonprofit organization empowering rural communities across Nigeria through sustainable agriculture, climate action, ecosystem restoration, youth development, and community resilience.

We aim to reduce poverty and promote environmental stewardship in some of Africa’s most vulnerable regions. We are seeking a skilled volunteer to use storytelling, media engagement, and strategic communication to drive social and environmental impact.

We’re looking for a passionate Website Designer to help La Suzy elevate it's online presence.

Every day, disabled people who rely on highly trained assistance dogs face unnecessary barriers. From being refused entry to shops and restaurants, to navigating confusing legal protections. These challenges persist despite the vital role assistance dogs play in giving people greater independence, confidence, and opportunity.  Outdated legislation and a lack of clarity around rights and responsibilities mean progress is slow. Change is urgently needed.

That’s where you come in. We are working in partnership with Assistance Dogs UK (ADUK), the umbrella body of 14 accredited assistance dog charities in the UK, to secure expert voices to help shape the future of access and protection for assistance dog partnerships. By joining, you will contribute to a vision of a society where disabled people face no barriers, where legislation is clear and enforceable, and where high standards safeguard both people and dogs.

What we’re looking for
You will bring credibility, relevant skills and knowledge, and a commitment to integrity, openness, and collaboration. You will be confident in influencing, communicating clearly, and making an active contribution. The ability to draw on your networks to support the panel’s work is also valuable.

About the opportunity
