Across Merseyside, we have over 180 young people take part in our Badger (5–10) and Cadet (11–17) programmes, led by over 50 youth leaders — and we’re growing fast. To keep up with demand, we’re looking for passionate youth leaders to join our incredible team.
Why We Need You Our youth units in Liverpool City Centre, Southport, St Helens, West Derby, Speke & Woolton, Bebington, Birkenhead and Wallasey are thriving — so much so that some have waiting lists of over 100 young people. In 2026, our mission is to expand our team of youth leaders so we can open our doors to even more young people across the county.

As Unit Manager you will be responsible for the overall management of your St John Ambulance Youth unit. You will do this by leading weekly meetings, organising other youth development activities and actively participating in the recruitment, training and retention of the young people and volunteers in your unit. You will ensure that they have a positive and rewarding experience in St John Ambulance, by equipping them with the necessary skills to fulfil our vision; ‘Everyone who needs it should receive first aid from those around them. No one should suffer for the lack of trained first aiders.’
This role is ideal for someone who has some management experience and wants to enhance their skills while doing invaluable work. This role is exempt from the provisions of the Rehabilitations Offenders Act.

About the Role
As our Founding Email Marketing & Retention Manager, you will design, manage, and maintain structured email communication systems that support supporter engagement, donor retention, volunteer involvement, and long-term community growth during our build phase.
You will not inherit a finished email system.

Cambridgeshire is made of of 5 Networks who meet in Cambridge, Huntingdon, Wittlesey, Peterborough and Soham. Cambridgeshire have historiically covered events such as Cambridge corn exchange, Cambridge United footballl Club, Huntingdon Racecourse, Newmarket Racecourse, Duxford Airshow, Great Eastern Run, Strawberry Fair, May Balls, County shows and Christmas light swicth ons.
Whilst many of the events we cover are at the weekends we do also cover mid-week events.
We will be running a number of information events locally and these are:

YCAS (Youth Counselling and Advice Service) is currently a concept in development. We are looking for a volunteer Project Manager to lead the charge in taking us from "big idea" to a "live service" that supports young people aged 11–25 in Ealing.
Your Startup Mandate
In this "Day Zero" role, you won't just be managing a project; you’ll be building the project’s engine. You will work directly with our Founder and Founding Trustees to:
- Design the Launch Roadmap: Create and lead the master project plan, including timelines, milestones, and resource needs for a successful launch.
- Coordinate the Founding Team: Act as the "central hub," keeping our Founder, Trustees, and early volunteers aligned and motivated.
- Drive Tactical Execution: Bridge the gap between the Board’s high-level strategy and the day-to-day tasks needed to open our doors.
- Manage Risks: Identify potential "startup bumps" early—like funding gaps or legal hurdles—and develop creative solutions.

Main Responsibilities / Key Duties

Design, develop, and maintain automated workflows linking campaigns, email systems, forms, and databases.

The Role
Volunteer Digital Marketing Director
Responsibilities:

Design, coordinate, and oversee the CIC’s digital infrastructure during the build and early growth phase.

Develop and maintain a coherent digital architecture that supports operational delivery across all teams.

Oversee configuration, maintenance, and appropriate use of core digital platforms, including:
CRM systems
Learning platforms
Internal collaboration and secure storage tools

Ensure all systems remain usable for volunteers with varied technical confidence.

Produce and maintain clear documentation for:
System setup
Access and permissions
Day-to-day use

Define and manage user access levels across all platforms.

Work closely with Safeguarding and Finance teams to ensure lawful, ethical data handling.

CONTEXT
The Women & Families Resource Centre (WFRC) is a registered charity based in
Wolverhampton which supports, empowers and advocates for women and children.
We aim to actively encourage women to be self-reliant, through empowering them to
identify their own needs, make their own choices and create their own solutions. We
offer a baby bank, a charity shop & various community support services to help
women facing crises or challenging situations.
Wolverhampton Baby Bank is a flagship project run by The Women & Families
Resource Centre, a registered charity supporting families with children aged 0-3.
Through donated essentials and community engagement, we provide much-needed
items such as:
- Essential supplies for babies and toddlers, including nappies, wipes, clothing, toys,
and bedding.
- Support services for new parents, including drop-in groups and befriending for
pregnant women and new mothers.
- Referrals and resources to connect families with additional community services.
Scope and Span
The Baby Bank Manager leads the operational delivery and structured rebuild of WFRC’s flagship Baby Bank service. This role is critical as WFRC stabilises and restructures following recent operational disruptions. The postholder will oversee volunteer coordination, stock and inventory systems, client service delivery, corporate volunteer engagement, and compliance reporting.
This position requires a strong balance of operational leadership, administrative oversight, and compassionate service delivery, ensuring that the Baby Bank operates efficiently, sustainably, and in alignment with funding and safeguarding requirements.
WFRC operates as a not-for-profit organisation but must function with business-level accountability and sustainability. The Baby Bank Manager plays a key role in embedding structured systems that ensure continuity beyond individuals.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Operational Leadership: Oversee daily Baby Bank operations, manage referrals and appointments, ensure safe and dignified support for families, and gradually scale services in line with capacity.
- Volunteer & Corporate Coordination: Recruit, induct, supervise, and retain volunteers (including structured reviews and scheduling), prevent burnout, and coordinate corporate volunteer days effectively.
- Stock & Service Delivery Management: Manage inventory intake, sorting, storage, safety standards, stock monitoring, and ensure smooth distribution of baby items.
- Administration, Systems & Reporting: Maintain accurate digital records, update databases, support workflow systems, ensure data protection compliance, and track service data for funding and impact reporting.
- Leadership, Compliance & Governance: Attend meetings, communicate with leadership, escalate issues, uphold safeguarding and policy standards, and support overall organisational administration.
Qualifications
- Must be a female candidate living in Wolverhampton (due to the sensitive nature of the role and need for local community knowledge).
- Experience in service coordination, community services, or charity operations preferred
- Experience managing volunteers or small teams but not required
- Strong administrative and record-keeping background
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office and digital systems
- Understanding of safeguarding and confidentiality principles
