About the Role
As a critical member of the strategic leadership team (SLT) for Emmaus UK, the Director of Partnerships and Federation Development will take lead responsibility for ensuring the provision of high-quality support, advice, capacity building and grant-making for federation members in the UK.
The postholder will play a key role in the development of national strategic partnerships and will collaborate with federation members to ensure that federation strategic priorities are delivered and that our colleagues across the federation are able to do their very best work supporting people to overcome homelessness and poverty.
The role will also ensure effective programme and project management of directorate projects and work to embed cross-directorate working and co-operation.

The role of Programme Lead (Training and Reconciliation) is a key new position in supporting Place for Hope’s strategic goal of growing our partnerships with faith communities to support and equip more people to reach their potential as peacemakers.
The Programme Lead will co-ordinate all work related to our new 5-year partnership with the United Reformed Church (URC). The partnership will involve two key areas (i) the development and staged roll-out of a mediation team within the URC who will work ecumenically with the wider Place for Hope Practitioner team; and (ii) embedding the understanding, skills, and confidence in how to deal well with conflict, change and difference through a set programme of trainings.
The Programme Lead will draw on the entire Place for Hope team (staff and volunteers) to develop and deliver an agreed 5-year programme plan. Previous experience of project management, training, as well as excellent organisational and communication skills are essential to the role. YMCA West Sussex Transitional Housing provides safe, secure accommodation for young people aged 18-25, who have been, or are at risk of homelessness. Our staff team comprises of Supported Housing Support Workers, Housing Mobile Night Workers and two Supported Housing Managers. We offer a support package alongside the accommodation to actively encourage residents into education, training, employment or voluntary work.
In delivering the role, you will work with the Deputy Supported Housing Manager and the wider housing team to provide effective day to day management of our transitional accommodation service. You will have your own caseload of residents, working creatively and effectively alongside young people to develop their assets and talents and to acquire the skills they need to live independent and fulfilling lives. You will contribute to the smooth and safe running of the service by providing consistency and reliability. You will have a calm, yet assertive manner, being able to handle potentially difficult situations. You will also support young people to safeguard themselves against abuse and risk. About the role

About the Role:
Victim Support (VS) is the leading independent charity in England and Wales for people who have been affected by crime and traumatic incidents. Understanding the experience and needs of victims and witnesses of crime is central to the charities' aims and vision.
As a Research & Lived Experience Officer you will have the opportunity to capture the voice of victims and promote evidence based recommendations to improve the experience of victims in the criminal justice system. You will be a part of a small but enthusiastic research team, while also having the opportunity to lead your own project.
You will have the opportunity to recruit participants and manage a Lived Experience Engagement Forum, and to regularly engage, build and maintain close relationships with the forum's participants. You will also need to conduct workshops/focus groups to collect feedback and insights from the participants on various products and procedures, and produce summaries of this feedback.
To be successful in the role you will need to have proven experience in recruiting vulnerable people to take part in research activities and conducting workshops or focus groups and interviews. Experience in writing and analysing surveys is an advantage. You will also have excellent interpersonal skills and an ability to work independently, as well as experience of working in partnership with various stakeholders. Having knowledge of victims of crime is desirable, but not essential.

Key Responsibilities
Recruitment & Retention
- Administer the recruitment process by placing job adverts into the template on Canva, removing expired job adverts from the THET website; downloading applications; setting up interviews
