SANE is a UK-wide mental health charity working to improve the quality of life of anyone affected by mental illness. It aims to raise awareness and understanding of all mental health conditions; fight to improve frontline mental health services for individuals and carers; provide support, information and guidance through SANEline, our Call Back service, email and text support. SANE also promotes and host research into causes, treatments and therapies through its Prince of Wales International Centre for SANE research.
About the role:
We are looking for a compassionate and committed Youth Support and Project Officer to join our SANEline Services team with a dedicated focus on supporting young people affected by mental health.
In this role you will;
- Deliver emotional support and to both adults and young people
- Shape and lead on a youth helpline and/or written service
- Liaise with external agencies and services
- Help build and shape youth focused services at SANE
You will bring;
- Experience of supporting young people with mental health needs ideally in complex situations
- Strong safeguarding knowledge
- A trauma informed, empathetic and resilient approach to support
- The ability to build trust and rapport with young people and families
Salary: £30,000-32,000 per annum, depending on experience

About the role

We’re looking for a Support Officer – based in Northern Ireland – who can help us to complete the delivery of our pioneering The National Lottery Heritage Fund project. This role will support churches of all denominations with maintenance and tourism advice, training and events and be a key contact for churches looking for heritage support in Northern Ireland.

The purpose of the job is to deliver advice to those housebound or not able to travel to The Hub, so it will involve home visits throughout the Borough. Duties and key responsibilities
Security Strategy & Risk Management:
•Develop and implement security strategies and operational guidelines for all field operations in high-risk areas.
•Conduct regular security assessments and threat analyses of operational environments and adjust strategies as needed.

PERSON SPECIFICATION
Experience
•Bachelor’s degree in risk, disaster or security or emergency management or a related field
•Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in security management, with at least 3-5 years in a leadership role within a humanitarian, development, or conflict-related environment.
•Proven experience in managing complex security operations in high-risk settings.
•Experience in designing and delivering security training programs for diverse staff groups.
•Experience with emergency response, crisis management, and evacuation procedures.

Executive Officer: Ministerial Oversight
The Methodist Church is seeking an Executive Officer to support the processes relating to ministerial oversight. Working alongside the Ministerial Coordinator for the Oversight of Ordained Ministries, you will be providing executive support to the candidating processes, the Ministerial Candidates and Probationers Oversight Committee, the Ministers of other Conferences and Churches programme and arranging for ordination services. The role will offer high level support to the Ministerial Coordinator for the Oversight of Ordained Ministries on a wide range of matters including the convening of committees and preparing papers.

We are looking for someone who wants to make a positive contribution to ministerial oversight, enjoys matters of detail, and is interested in supporting the work of the Church.
The role will require someone who is intellectually curious, enthusiastic, highly organised and able to follow detailed processes carefully and sensitively.

- Coordinate the National Subspecialty Webinar Series (Sept 2025–June 2026)
- Support our volunteer doctors who work with the learning team on our events and activities, through recruitment, onboarding, and recognition
- Collaborate with Special Interest Groups and internal teams to ensure smooth event delivery
- Provide administrative support across the RCR Learning Team to ensure excellence in every interaction

The Role
To take responsibility for the co-ordination, organisation of and entries to all public examinations across Inscape House School. To ensure Inscape House School adhere to the legal framework for the Joint Council for Qualifications and for all examination bodies
Hours: 37.5 Hours per week (Part time flexible working maybe be considered)

Salary: £27,814.31
Location: Inscape House School, Cheadle, Stockport
Reports to : Deputy Head of Upper School
Responsibilities include but are not exhaustive;
- To have full responsibility for the organisation and supervision of the school and extended services as an examination centre, ensuring adequate security and the adherence to appropriate examination board regulations and routines.
- To timetable all external and internal examinations.
- Coordinate the preparation and submission of entries to examination bodies.
- To oversee correspondence with curriculum areas and examination boards.
- Deliver training on invigilation and facilitation of access arrangements.
- Actively engage in training sessions, meetings and other directed tasks, to support the school’s priorities and to ensure their own professional development.
- Attend staff meetings and planning meetings when required.
- Report any safeguarding concerns to the Senior Designated Person.
- Adhere to all safeguarding policies, practices and expectations including online safety.
- Support the safe arrival and departure of the children and young people to and from school on LA or parental transport
About You;
- Recent Exams Officer Training.
- Experience of working as an Exams Officer.
- Strong administrative skills
- Experience of JCQ inspections in relation to delivery of exams and access arrangements.
- Experience of exam timetabling and facilitating access arrangements.
- The ability to keep records in an orderly fashion and prioritise competing tasks within specified time constraints
- Flexibility in dealing with changing circumstances.
- A proficient level of spoken and written English.
- Evidence of recent relevant professional development.
- An understanding of the JCQ regulations for delivering examinations and for access arrangements.
- Strong personal resilience.
