Approved Premises (APs) work with high-risk people released from prison, providing a vital element in public protection arrangements. APs offer a level of contact, support and supervision within the community that is unique within the Criminal Justice System. This is an opportunity to be part of a dedicated, enthusiastic staff team at our male Approved Premises in Battersea, playing a key role in pro-social modelling, rehabilitation and community reintegration for those ready to make positive choices.
Working closely with Probation Officers and other community services such as police, health, housing and substance misuse, we provide a stepping stone from prison into the community.
As a member of the Approved Premises team, you will model pro-social behavior and foster a positive, respectful culture with both clients and colleagues. You will actively engage with residents, supporting communal activities such as meal preparation, and contribute to the delivery of individual sentence plans in collaboration with probation officers, police, and external agencies.
Your role will involve providing administrative and practical support, ensuring daily tasks are completed, and following all operational protocols. You will encourage compliance and enforce rules relating to curfews and drug and alcohol testing as required. Keeping colleagues, multi-agency partners, and management informed is essential.
You will be responsible for monitoring and maintaining the health, safety, security, cleanliness, and well-being of the premises and residents, utilizing tools such as CCTV, observation, and direct personal contact. Accurate, timely record-keeping and appropriate information sharing with respect for confidentiality are critical components of this role.
Using your initiative, you will identify and address additional tasks or emerging issues, working within the service to maintain an enabling environment. Adherence to the Approved Premises Manual, Hestia policies, and relevant justice service requirements is expected, alongside consistently demonstrating The Hestia Approach.
This role involves working closely with high-risk offenders transitioning from prison to community life, providing a unique level of daily support, supervision, and tailored interventions. You will empower residents to take responsibility for themselves while maintaining appropriate boundaries and supervision. The position operates on a rolling rota covering early, late, weekend, and night shifts to ensure continuous support and public protection.

Job Purpose:

Governance Manager (12-months maternity cover)
About the role
This is an exciting time to join Emmaus UK and provide maternity cover for our Governance Manager.
This standalone role is responsible for managing the operations of the board and committees of Emmaus UK, as well as for providing support to local boards at Emmaus communities across Great Britain as they look to develop their governance arrangements.
The postholder will manage the board of trustees, leading on recruitment, induction and compliance, ensuring meetings run smoothly and are minuted effectively. They will also work as company secretary, managing the smooth-running of the AGM, and ensuring returns are made to Companies House and the Charity Commission within appropriate timeframes.
The Governance Manager is responsible for monitoring the development of policies, tracking completion and working with managers to continuously improve policies in line with changing regulation.
The role will also involve extensive work with members of the Emmaus movement, through the performance of reviews of local governance of members, reporting back to local boards on areas to celebrate and actions to develop. They will also be responsible for developing Emmaus UK’s best practice toolkit for trustees to refer to in developing their local governance arrangements, and for liaising with the wider Emmaus movement through facilitation of the membership processes with Emmaus Europe and Emmaus International.

Emmaus UK Governance
- Manage the board of trustees, leading on recruitment, delivering a comprehensive and appropriate induction, dealing with enquiries, maintaining declarations of interest, skills audit and eligibility forms and ensuring all details are up to date and accurate.
- Act as company secretary for Emmaus UK, leading on the preparation for and delivery of the Annual General Meeting, filing required returns, developing documents associated with membership, and ensuring the charity is compliant with relevant charity and company law.
Board and Committee Meetings
- Coordinate board meetings including organising venues, liaison with the relevant secretary and chairs in creating agendas, preparing and distributing papers and taking and circulating accurate minutes
- Oversee the smooth-running of committee meetings in conjunction with the admin team, including creation of the annual calendar.
- Ensure all follow up actions are coordinated, and ongoing rolling actions logs are maintained and appropriately shared with the Emmaus UK staff team.
Emmaus UK Governance Development
- Lead on governance projects within Emmaus UK, including but not limited to risk, policy management and internal governance reviews, reporting to the Board and subcommittees as appropriate.
- Provide governance advice and support to staff members on an ad hoc basis.
- Monitor all internal policies and procedures ensuring they are fit for purpose and kept under review by the relevant staff members.
Federation Governance
- Lead on reviews of members’ local governance arrangements, scheduling, undertaking analysis, reviewing documentation, collating responses from members and observations from Emmaus UK Senior Leadership Team members, and reporting to local boards on findings and Emmaus UK’s Audit & Risk Committee on emerging themes.
- Provide guidance for federation members on governance development through ad hoc advice, the production of governance toolkits and supporting resources.
- Facilitate the membership processes and requirements for Emmaus Europe and Emmaus International, supporting transitioning members and contributing to movement-wide events such as the World and Regional Assemblies, international visits and exchange programmes.

About the Role
As Supporter Development Manager, you will provide leadership to the Supporter Development side of the Individual Giving Team, successfully delivering supporter development activity in line with agreed annual targets and our Fundraising Strategy. Over the last five years we have increased the number of individuals and organisation supporting the charity from 800 to more than 3,500 a year. The charity is set to build on this success and aims to continue this growth, so that we can reach more patients and provide additional support at a time when it is more critical than ever for kidney patients.
The Corporate Partnership Manager will play a key role in this growth. Our Corporate Partnership income has grown from zero in 2020 to c£2.3 million in 2025. It is a very exciting time to be joining the charity and our Fundraising team.
Primarily, you will be responsible for building engagement and driving new income via charity of the year partnerships, corporate partnerships, and employee fundraising. You will manage the Corporate Partnership Officer who is developing a growing portfolio of supporters across different sectors. You will also work closely with the Events Manager, Trust & Foundation Manager, Head of Fundraising and Director of Fundraising, Marketing & Communications as well as the wider Fundraising team to promote and support all opportunities to drive corporate income growth.
Alongside the Director of Fundraising, Marketing & Communications who takes a special interest in the charity’s Corporate Partnerships, you will be tasked with planning, implementing, and delivering the activities, programmes and processes required to grow corporate income from c£2.3m in 2025 to even greater levels over the coming years.
You will do this by stewarding the significant number of existing relationships and partnerships we already hold and maximising any opportunities that exist via our current partnerships and relationships. A key part of this role will require you to develop new opportunities and secure significant income (5-and-6 figure partnerships) through proactive engagement to and through our supporters, beneficiaries, networks, and contacts.
The right candidate will have a proven record of generating strategic partnerships that result in 5-and 6-figure corporate income, building strong and rewarding relationships, with stewardships skills that generate long term support for the charity. You will be a driven and enthusiastic fundraiser with experience of cultivating new relationships across a range of businesses and sectors.

As an IPS Employment Specialist at Twining-Hestia, you will support individuals with severe mental health issues to find and sustain paid employment using the internationally recognized Individual Placement and Support (IPS) model.
Based in Hounslow, you will manage a 20-25 caseload of clients, engaging them in developing and implementing tailored employment plans to meet their goals. Your responsibilities include conducting career guidance, job searches, CV preparation, and interview coaching, while working closely with clinical staff and community partners such as Job Centres, local business employers. You will also provide ongoing support to clients to help them remain in or return to work, ensuring they receive the necessary adjustments and access to financial advice. Engaging with employers, meeting monthly targets, and maintaining accurate records are key duties. This role is primarily based on site and in the community 65% of your working week, with the opportunity to work from home one day per week only.

The role:
The Health & Safety Coordinator will provide support across the Rothschild Foundation to ensure that all appropriate health and safety, risk management, and related compliance systems and procedures are in place, reviewed and updated regularly.
This role is responsible for producing incident reports and submitting RIDDOR reports, undertaking weekly and quarterly playground inspections, as well as responding to all queries - both internally and externally - relating to health and safety.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct investigations into workplace and visitor incidents, and be directly responsible for the necessary record keeping and any claims management.
- Working with the Security Department, and supporting as required with fire testing and safety. You will work with the Head of Security on disaster planning and the disaster team in general
- Ensure contractor management policy is followed, and new contractors are onboarded correctly with all documents checked
- Undertake weekly and quarterly routine inspection of the children’s woodland playground at Waddesdon Manor, ensuring all paperwork is completed, reporting any required works, and liaising with ROSPA and the insurers during their annual inspection
- Make the action points for the H&S Committee meeting, distribute these in a timely manner, and support preparation of the agenda in advance of the meeting
- Ensure Heads of Departments update and maintain all risk assessments for their business area and that record of awareness forms are completed annually, and remind Heads of Department about conducting new activity risk assessments
- Coordinate mandatory training for the Rothschild Foundation using the e-learning system and regularly produce reports on staff members that have not completed the required modules and flag to the relevant line manager
