I’m the founder of That’s Still Rape, a non-profit challenging rape myths and their harmful impact on rape survivors. We use campaigns, media, and research to improve the public’s understanding of rape, tackle victim-blaming and debunk misinformation. Think of us as a cross between Shout Your Abortion, Hope Not Hate and the Good Law Project.
What we do:
- Change the conversation – We run campaigns and media that challenge victim-blaming.
- Publish research – We conduct research exposing the true scale of UK rape culture.
- Reform policy – We fight for legal and policy changes to improve justice outcomes for survivors.

Co-founder role:
We’re at a critical moment of growth and I’m looking for a co-founder to help scale the organisation. Together we’ll:
- Lead digital and guerrilla campaigns (petitions, rallies, research papers, billboards, and videos)
- Lead fundraising efforts (donors, grants etc.)
- Establish relationships with MPs/policymakers
- Act as a public face for the org in interviews and events, while building relationships with journalists
- Build and manage a small team (initially volunteers)
- Build internal systems and structures to support operations
Who I'm looking for:
It would be great if you had some of the following - but its not necessary:
- A track record of building things (teams, platforms, movements) from the ground up
- Experience securing funding from the public, trusts or foundations
- A network of contacts across media, campaigns or advocacy spaces

Now, we're expanding our efforts to TikTok (and possibly BlueSky) to raise awareness about prematurity and connect with new audiences. We need your expertise in resizing, adapting, and manually reposting or scheduling our content on these platforms. To enhance community engagement, your role will also involve monitoring and responding to comments and organising collaborations with our supporters on TikTok.

Each year, over 90,000 babies in the UK are born sick or prematurely. Ickle Pickles is the only charity dedicated to helping hospitals raise funds for lifesaving equipment. We work with neonatal units and families affected by neonatal care across the country. By increasing our reach on TikTok, we can support more families, spread awareness of prematurity and ultimately, increase donations to fund life-saving equipment for premature and sick babies.

This is a key role that will directly contribute to ensuring our training is recognised, professional, and impactful across healthcare.
Key Responsibilities
Work with the Project Lead to design and refine training materials for CPD accreditation.
Advise on the requirements and standards needed to gain CPD accreditation.
Prepare and manage the submission of CPD accreditation applications.
Ensure all documentation, processes, and assessment methods meet accrediting body standards.
Support the development of systems for monitoring and evaluating training outcomes.

Who are we looking for?
At present we are working towards being fully operational, over the next year Living Reasons will be looking to expand its reach.
As a Volunteer Integrated Technology Project Lead with Living Reasons, you will oversee the project management of technology integration across all aspects of our operations, including both software and hardware. Working closely with the funding team, you will design and deliver project plans that attract funding and ensure resources are used effectively and in line with funding agreements. You will also lead on the procurement of hardware from third-party suppliers, including organisations that support non-profits with technology solutions.
In collaboration with Technology Coordinators, you will use user feedback to guide the development of software that is accessible, adaptable, and reliable for a diverse demographic of users. This role will also focus on driving innovation—creating solutions that not only strengthen Living Reasons but also have the potential to be developed and supplied to other businesses or end users through the organisation. By leading on strategy, coordination, and delivery, you will ensure that Living Reasons harnesses technology in innovative and sustainable ways that maximise impact.
What is the plan?
The person who is starting the charity up is autistic, has ADHD, CPTSD and also multiple physical conditions that effect daily life and is part of the LGBTQ+ community and has faced a lot of issues in life because of these things.
Living Reasons is being created to fix what we think is a challenging situation that is getting harder to achieve every week, month and year in the current economic, political, environmental and societal landscape. It is not easily defined but we hope the charity objects below will help put context to what we want to achieve, what we can say is that below are the issues we are trying to address, how we do this will change as quickly as society does, but the issues we want to tackle are these:
