Are you a proactive fundraiser and looking to support a small charity? We're looking for 2 energetic and enthusiastic fundraiser volunteers to increase the fundraising opportunities for the charity as well as developing corporate partnerships, legacy giving, individual giving and major donors. This role may also include:

• Develop new and imaginative fundraising activities, many of which involve organising events
• Project manage fundraising events, from inception all the way through to evaluation
• Recruit and promote supporters and volunteers for challenge and national events.
• Assisting with researching and approaching corporate entities for event sponsorships, partnerships, Charity of the Year partnerships, and donations from corporate foundations
• Writing emails and speaking with potential partners about the work of Burning Nights CRPS Support with the aim of securing funds for the organisation
• Helping to maintain the fundraising database, ensuring accuracy and consistency of all records;
• Development in fundraising opportunities
• Keeping in contact with current & past donors and assisting in finding new donors
• Communicating with past fundraisers and encourage them to consider fundraising in the future
• Assist in marketing our events
• Development / Improvement of fundraising support (e.g fundraising packs and materials)
• Create fundraising & donation posts for social media & email marketing

Key & Desirable Skills:

• Fully computer literate and fully able with the main Microsoft Office tools including Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint as well as the internet and email
• Knowledge of using CRM systems or ability to learn

• Outgoing, friendly and proactive character
• Good initiative and ability to work with little direct supervision but will ask when help is needed
• Be comfortable volunteering within a small team or by yourself
• Good communication skills - Ability to communicate effectively at a number of different levels
• Ability to communicate effectively by telephone, written correspondence and in person
• Experience of writing funding proposals and working in fundraising would be an advantage
• Strong organisational skills
• Knowledge of corporate fundraising techniques including Charity of the Year, sponsorship, donations, marketing would be an advantage
• An ability to present and engage potential partners/sponsors in a compelling way
• Maintaining strict confidentiality

• A willingness to complete some training in order to provide high standards of cat welfare

Time expectation

Our volunteer fosterers usually spend around one and a half hours per day (around 10 to 13 hours per week) in this role, but this might vary depending on the number of cats or kittens in care.

Provide holistic end-of-life care to people who are suffering of a terminal illness, under the direction of the Palliative Care Nurse Team Leader. By caring for those often isolated, hopeless, and fearful, this position is a living example of God’s love and compassion for the weak, lonely, and marginalised members of society. This position works primarily off-ship; hot and dusty or wet (depending on season) conditions can be expected. Visiting people in their house requires cultural sensitivity.

• Support terminally ill patients and their family members through the grieving process, preparing them for death

• Train and assist family members with wound care for the afflicted person

• Share basic health principles with terminally ill patients and family members in order to improve their health

• Encourage the use of local, affordable materials for wound care and locally available analgesia

Fathercraft

We want to change the perceptions of male caring and fatherhood and support more partners to get involved because it creates value for everyone.

Supporting men to be equal and active parents from the start is key for gender equality. Research from Sweden suggests that every additional month of paternity leave taken by fathers increases the mother’s lifetime earnings by 6.7% (Johansson, 2010).

80% of the gender pay gap is attributed to the motherhood penalty (World Economic Forum, 2022)

The gender pay gap more than doubles for women over 40 (ONS, 2022)

Yet despite increasing willingness and interest in taking an active parenting role, in 2022, dads spent, on average, just 55 minutes per day with their children (ONS, 2023).

This is largely due to the fact that one in three working dads don’t feel comfortable talking to their employer about family commitments and/or are not adequately supported to be the best dads and partners they can be.

We have developed an affordable, comprehensive online platform called "Father's Ed" that provides guidance, support, wellbeing services and a community for new or expectant fathers. This includes peer support between dads, science-based online, digital well-being courses covering a range of strange and anxiety triggers, e. g. financial well-being, loneliness, insomnia, etc.). We are also working on providing mental health services for new fathers through partnerships.

About us: GT Scholars is a charitable social enterprise that tackles educational inequality by giving ambitious young people the support, skills and strategies they need to achieve aspirations. We run a wide range of programmes that help young people achieve their academic and career aspirations, particularly those from less-privileged backgrounds. 

What makes us different? We run tutoring, mentoring & career insight programmes that help our scholars, aged 11-18, discover their strengths, develop their mindsets and design their own futures.

If you are an undergraduate or graduate, you could make a difference by joining us as a volunteer tutor. As a volunteer tutor, you’ll need to:

Solta o Jogo is a vibrant cultural competition and festival celebrating Brazilian heritage through Capoeira, music, dance, acrobatics, and a Brazilian arts & crafts fair. Hosted at Kingston University Townhouse, the event invites the community to participate in free performances, workshops, and exhibitions promoting cross-cultural understanding.

As part of this initiative, we are seeking a dedicated Admin Assistant to support the day-to-day coordination and administrative operations behind this exciting and community-driven programme.

Position Overview:
The Admin Assistant will play a vital role in supporting communication, event coordination, documentation, and volunteer tracking. This position is perfect for someone looking to gain hands-on experience in nonprofit administration, event logistics, and team coordination. Our Summer Camps
Thursday 21st – Sunday 24th August, & Thursday 28th – Sunday 31st August near Romford, Essex.

We are currently looking for energetic and enthusiastic volunteers to join us on one (or both!) of our action-packed residential Summer Camps. On the camp you will be supporting one of our members with a disability to have a holiday they won’t forget.

What you'll do

On the camp you and a fellow co-volunteers will support one of our members with a learning disability or autism for the 4 days. You’ll support and encourage them to take part in lots of exciting activities such as campfires, treasure trails, swimming, nighttime activities, day trips to the seaside and much more. You’ll also help our members with their day-to-day routines and preparing our meals.

Not only is it four days full of fun and games for you and our members, but you will also play a vital part in supporting them to develop their social skills in a day-to-day environment and of course, to enjoy a fantastic holiday!

What you need
You do not need experience. Full disability awareness training will be provided before you begin volunteering with us.
The only requirements we ask of you are enthusiasm, energy and to be open-minded.
Minimum age for volunteers is 18.

How much time?
The Camps run on consecutive weekends for four days each. The dates are Thursday 21st – Sunday 24th August, & Thursday 28th – Sunday 31st August. You can volunteer on one or both weekends.

Both camps start and finish in Tottenham, North London.

We can offer you
We can reimburse your travel expenses for your training days. All meals, transportation and accommodation are provided during the camps.
We'll also provide excellent training before the camp, and lots of helpful support throughout.

We are looking for a Corporate Brand Manager (Volunteer) to join RollaDome All Skate’s marketing and communications team. As a volunteer in this strategic role, you will help develop and implement our brand strategy, ensuring that our message resonates with our target audiences. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with an interest in brand management, nonprofit work, and youth sports to gain practical experience in a rewarding environment. 

Key Responsibilities 

• Brand Strategy: Develop a brand strategy that supports RollaDome’s mission. Conduct market research and tailor brand messaging for target audiences. 

• Brand Guidelines: Create and uphold consistent brand guidelines across all marketing materials. 

• Asset Management: Oversee brand assets, ensuring all visual elements align with the brand’s values and identity. 

• Collaboration: Work closely with other departments to ensure the brand is consistently communicated across platforms. 

• Brand Performance Monitoring: Measure brand success and gather insights to help refine strategies. 

• External Relationships: Coordinate with external partners to maintain strong and consistent brand promotion.

RollaDome All Skate is seeking a Volunteer Assistant Marketing Officer to support the promotion of our programs, events, and activities. This role provides hands-on experience in marketing, digital content management, and communications, ideal for individuals looking to develop their skills in a nonprofit setting. 

Key Responsibilities 

• Upload and manage information about programs and events across online platforms. 

• Promote RollaDome activities on social media and other networks. 

• Research and identify new online platforms for increased visibility. 

• Build and maintain relationships with existing promotion channels. 

• Collaborate with the PR/Marketing Officer to align with marketing objectives. 

• Track engagement metrics and provide performance reports. 

• Assist with social media content creation and scheduling. 

Skills & Qualifications 

• Strong written communication and attention to detail. 

• Familiarity with social media platforms and content management systems. 

• Research and organizational skills. 

• Creative mindset with problem-solving abilities.

Do you have a strong background in finance and a passion for securing funding for community-based initiatives? We’re seeking a Volunteer Project Manager to lead and coordinate our Grants & Finance Team, helping us access essential funding and manage financial resources to support life-changing programmes.

What You’ll Do:

• Lead and manage the Grants & Finance Department

• Coordinate and chair monthly team meetings

• Identify and apply for funding opportunities, managing deadlines and submissions

• Track team tasks, monitor progress, and ensure timelines and reporting requirements are met

• Align funding applications with the organisation’s goals and strategic priorities

• Support with financial oversight, including budgeting and expenditure monitoring

• Occasionally attend in-person meetings, if preferred or feasible

Qualifications & Experience:

• Experience in finance or money management is essential

• Bid writing experience is desirable but not essential

• Excellent knowledge of Excel is preferred

• Prior experience in grants, fundraising, or nonprofit finance is a plus

• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple deadlines

• Good written and verbal communication skills

• Comfortable using remote tools and working independently or in teams
