Volunteer Videographer/Editor Wanted

Are you a visual storyteller with a talent for capturing and editing compelling content?

The Principality of Scotia is forging a new path, and The Scotia Foundation needs a passionate volunteer Videographer/Editor to help us tell our story in a dynamic and visually stunning way. This is a unique opportunity to shape the visual narrative of a pioneering micronation.

Your creativity will be vital in bringing our mission and community to life on screen.

The Role

As our volunteer Videographer/Editor, you will be responsible for creating high-quality video content for our social media channels, website, and digital communications.

Your key duties will include:

  • Filming and capturing footage of key moments, interviews, and events (both virtual and, if applicable, in-person).

  • Editing video clips into short, engaging stories and promotional content.

  • Adding visual elements such as titles, graphics, and music to enhance the final product.

  • Helping to define the visual style and narrative of our video content.

Who We're Looking For

We are seeking a proactive and creative individual who:

  • Has experience in filming and video editing.

  • Is proficient with video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or similar).

  • Is a strong storyteller with a keen eye for detail.

  • Is passionate about The Principality of Scotia's vision and mission.
