We're looking for an experienced major donor fundraiser who has the passion, drive and strategic understanding to lead Age UK's Philanthropy programme. You will work to create a step change in philanthropy income & impact, aligned to Age UK's thematic priorities to tackle pensioner poverty, disconnection and health and care - locally, nationally and internationally. You will forge relationships to secure new donations and maintain existing donor relationships, whilst also leading and coaching a team you have the opportunity to recruit and build yourself.
We operate a hybrid-working model, a blend of home and office working. This role will include regular days working from our London office (EC3N 2LB) - currently once a week on a Thursday and may involve occasional travel for meetings and cultivation events. Travel costs to the London office are the responsibility of the postholder and are not covered by the charity.

As a Support Worker, you will be part of a small, dedicated team and take a lead on providing emotional support to adult carers and a commitment to enhancing their health and wellbeing. Much of your work will involve actively listening to carers, often via the phone support line, providing information, advice and support.
As part of the Adult Carers Support Team, you will also be involved in organising breaks for carers, outreach activities and leisure events, as well as group work to help enhance carers’ health and wellbeing. The Refugee Welcome Officer is an exciting and unique role, supporting groups across the county who engage with the Social Justice Network to take part in the Afghan Welcome Project. You will assist with group formation, volunteer recruitment, training and provide ongoing mentoring to ensure their success.
As Refugee Welcome Officer you will work closely with the groups, local authorities, the Home Office, the Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government and other key stakeholders to source suitable housing, matching families to accommodation whilst ensuring compliance.
You will build and maintain effective relationships with local agencies, councils, community groups and other sponsors to facilitate resettlement and share best practices, as well as taking the lead for coordinating recruitment and training and support for volunteers. You will also maintain DBS checks, training records and provide ongoing supervision and guidance.
In addition, you will assist with grant applications, fundraising initiatives, marketing and awareness-raising through social media, newsletters, events and community presentations.
You will have a strong passion for supporting resettled families and enabling local communities to be welcoming and inclusive. You will have experience working with volunteers, community groups or charitable organisations, and preferably experience supporting vulnerable individuals or families, including refugees or asylum seekers.
Knowledge of housing processes, private tenancies, and local support services is important, as are excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills. You should be confident influencing, negotiating and problem-solving in complex situations.
Experience of delivering training and supporting volunteer development, a full, clean UK driving licence and access to a vehicle and a willingness to travel within Kent, London and the Southeast is essential.

The Data & Research Manager plays a key role in Youth Futures Foundation’s Impact and Evidence team, helping us understand and address youth unemployment in England.
The postholder will lead on managing our data infrastructure including our flagship youth labour market dashboard and contribute to the design, commissioning, and delivery of high-quality quantitative research and analysis.

Sounds great, what will I be doing?
An exciting opportunity has arisen to lead the development and operational delivery of the newly commissioned Havering Reset Hub, delivered in partnership with North East London NHS Foundation Trust. The Hub is a 365-day, out-of-hours crisis-alternative service offering a safe and supportive space for Havering residents aged 18+ who are experiencing or approaching mental health crisis or severe distress. Staff and volunteers provide compassionate support through assessments, safety planning, wellness and recovery action plans, and social prescribing, helping individuals navigate their challenges and access the right resources.
As Service Manager, you will drive the strategic growth and day-to-day operations of the Hub, ensuring high-quality service delivery aligned with contract requirements and organisational goals. You'll lead partnership development, performance monitoring, and reporting, while embedding co-production and equality strategies into the service. This role requires strong leadership, stake
holder engagement, and a commitment to continuous improvement to ensure the Hub remains responsive to community needs and integrated within the wider mental health pathway.

The ideal candidate will bring substantial experience in managing services for individuals with mental health and complex needs, alongside a proven track record of leading diverse teams through all aspects of the employee lifecycle, including recruitment, supervision, performance management, and resolution of HR matters. You will have strong capabilities in service performance monitoring, maintaining high standards of care, and managing complex budgets effectively.
A deep understanding of mental health crisis management, safeguarding, and community care legislation is essential, as is experience working in partnership with statutory services, particularly the NHS. You'll be confident in developing and delivering support plans, promoting services to external stakeholders, and producing high-quality written reports. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and case management systems is required, along with the flexibility to work primarily out of hours, including evenings, weekends, and bank holidays, to support and oversee the delivery of the Havering Reset Hub.

The Role
To undertake all aspects of warehouse duties, ensuring effective, safe and efficient distribution of food each day. You will have responsibility for coordination of our food stock, from goods-in to picking, dispatch and stock rotation and will be expected to drive vans, and Forklift Trucks.
As the Community Food Member champion you will be responsible for liaising with our community food members. This will include duties such as managing collection schedules and liaising with the member services team to resolve any day-to-day queries.
Working closely with the wider team and volunteers, you will also support the monitoring and utilisation of warehouse space, stock, deliveries and collections to ensure food reaches its destination amongst our members safely, on time and in full.
Key Responsibilities
1. Operations
- Undertake all warehouse duties, ensuring effective, safe and efficient coordination and distribution and of food
- Work closely with the member services team to ensure all lines of communication to CFMs are recorded and day to day issues are resolved in a timely manner.

Role Description
The Safeguarding Officer will lead and oversee all aspects of safeguarding within St Edmundsbury Cathedral, ensuring that the Cathedral remains a safe, supportive, and inclusive environment for children, young people, and vulnerable adults.
You will be responsible for ensuring that the Cathedral meets all statutory safeguarding obligations and complies fully with the Church of England’s national safeguarding policies, diocesan frameworks, and relevant legislation. This includes proactively identifying potential risks, responding appropriately to safeguarding concerns, and ensuring effective reporting and case management in partnership with the Diocesan Safeguarding Team and statutory agencies.
Beyond compliance, this role is about embedding a culture of care, accountability, and transparency across the Cathedral community. You will support clergy, staff, and volunteers to understand their safeguarding responsibilities, ensure safer recruitment and training practices, and provide guidance and reassurance when safeguarding issues arise.
By acting as a source of expert advice, leadership, and advocacy, the Safeguarding Officer will help the Cathedral community uphold the highest standards of safety, dignity, and pastoral care, ensuring that everyone, regardless of age, background, or circumstance, can participate fully and confidently in Cathedral life.

Strategic leadership
- Act as the Cathedral’s primary safeguarding lead, providing authoritative advice and operational oversight to the Chapter, leadership team, clergy, staff and volunteers.

Policy & risk management

- Conduct audits and spot-checks to ensure practice aligns with policy and report findings with recommended improvements.

Additional duties and professional development
- Provide clear, timely advice within agreed working hours and support any out-of-hours arrangements for urgent safeguarding concerns as agreed with Chapter.

You’ll start at our entry point salary of £35,825 per annum, increasing to £38,065 after 6 months service and satisfactory performance and to £40,304 after a further 6 months.

This year, we’ve embarked on a bold, strategic initiative to enhance our data capabilities.
We’re aiming to improve our data use, integration and analytics to increase engagement, maximise impact and drive forward our strategic goals. With a key focus on: effective and efficient operations; collaboration; and continuous improvement in our Technology, Strategy and Business Intelligence teams.
To achieve this ambition, we’ve developed a new technology infrastructure which we are calling “Sage”. We’re implementing new technology infrastructure this year (such as our new CRM system and suite of data tools – Microsoft Dynamics).
We will be taking a structured and phased approach to transitioning and embedding our new team structures, infrastructure and ways of working as part of Phase 2 of this Project.
Our IT Infrastructure team covers the following areas:
- Fully responsible for managing the technology stacks
- Ensuring the underlying systems and data are secure and highly protected from malicious actors
- Ensuring the systems are available
- Managing 3rd party suppliers who assist us in supporting, developing and securing the systems
- Manage the technical and security risk registers and, with a risk based approach, mitigate risks to the best of our ability
- Embed principles of best value and money saving into all technology decisions
We’ve made a significant investment in our Microsoft suite and have transitioned services to Azure. We’re also building a cloud infrastructure to support the Organisation’s mission critical data use improvement project.
Our Infrastructure Systems Manager plays a crucial role in the development, support and maintenance of these systems, implementing the tools and technology we need as well as driving the reduction of IT costs where possible.
This role is responsible for:
- Maintenance of technical infrastructure based on Microsoft technologies
- Automated process creation to ensure systems are monitored and managed
- Migration of remaining on premise systems to Microsoft cloud based solutions
- Maintenance of legacy systems and processes where necessary
- Ensuring systems are highly accessible and available
- Advice to the Organisation on best practice on technology
For this role we’re looking for:
- Broad expert technical knowledge of IT Infrastructure based on both cloud and on premise Microsoft technologies
- Knowledge of Dynamics CRM 365 and associated technology
- Knowledge of Azure services, PowerApps, DataVerse
- Knowledge of sound backup and security protocols
- SQL (SSIS, SSRS) knowledge
- Experience of managing external stakeholders and 3rd party suppliers
- Service Management experience
