Job description

Are you great with children and enjoy supporting families in a friendly, welcoming environment? We're looking for caring and hands-on Toddler Group Support Volunteers to help make our weekly sessions warm, safe, and fun for everyone involved.

About the Role:

We offer a warm, welcoming space where all families are invited to join. Our family group brings together local parents, carers, and children under 4 for connection, play, and support. As a volunteer, you’ll help set up a welcoming space, prepare snacks, join in with crafts and play, and have friendly chats with attending families.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Helping set up the space before families arrive

  • Preparing light snacks and refreshments

  • Chatting with parents and carers

  • Joining in with crafts, story time, and play

  • Supporting tidy-up at the end of the session

What You’ll Gain:

  • Hands-on experience working with families and young children

  • Safeguarding training provided (great for CVs and future jobs!)

  • Be part of a supportive and kind volunteer team

  • You’re welcome to bring children under 4 with them to the group
