We are looking for community researchers specialised to contribute to our community-led working circle who are working on on a listening project to ensure often underrepresented voices in conservation and environmental projects are heard and centred.

The Inclusivity Circle currently meets monthly on a Wednesday evening on Google Meet and spends voluntary time outside of the meeting completing agreed tasks remotely.

Role Purpose: 

Responsible for the overall financial health and compliance of the organisation. Producing financial reports, developing strategies to support the charity objectives.  Guiding and advising Trustees in making sound business decisions in the long and short-term. 

Role Duties: 

• Monitor the financial operations with event director, such as payroll ifapplicable, invoicing, and other transactions.

• Monitoring and managing cashflow, forecasting, income and expenditure. 

• Oversee outside services for tax preparation, auditing, banking, investments, andother financial needs as necessary

• Seek out methods for minimising financial risk to the company

• Produce financial reports for Trustees

The League of Remembrance have supported Armed Forces veterans, and their families for over 100 years. At the outset they supported the widows of those who never returned from the Great War, and, as they developed, extended this support to encompass all veterans who have served with the Forces of the Crown; their widows, spouses, and dependents; retired nursing staff and, more recently, to those suffering from illness or disability in order to aid their recovery. As a Program Assistant for our wellness advocacy training program, you will play a key role in supporting the program's smooth operation. You will assist Mojisola, who leads the program, in recruiting facilitators and participants, coordinating activities, and ensuring effective delivery. Your work will contribute directly to the success of our wellness advocacy initiatives, ensuring they align with the mission and objectives of our organisation

• Facilitator & Participant Recruitment: Assist in identifying and recruiting qualified facilitators and participants for the wellness advocacy training program.

Decent, secure, and affordable homes are getting harder to come by, and there is widespread recognition and acceptance now that London needs more affordable homes, with The Government, The Mayor of London and the London boroughs rightly prioritising affordable housing.

This is the gap that our client successfully bridges, working with local people to create genuinely and permanently affordable homes and community spaces, putting Londoners back in charge of how their neighbourhoods positively evolve.

Proud to be at the vanguard of the Community Land Trust (CLT) movement. They were the first CLT in the capital to sell homes, starting with their flagship project at St Clements in Tower Hamlets with 23 homes, and then continuing with their first direct development at Citizens House in Lewisham with 11 homes. They also currently have projects across 6 London boroughs, with 34 homes built to date and a pipeline of 100+ new homes in development.

As their new Treasurer you will be joining our client at a particularly exciting time as they enter a period of significant growth, not only advising on the financial implications of their strategic plan but also working to ensure that their financial systems and processes keep pace, so that they can continue to manage their finances confidently and proactively.

A Qualified Accountant with demonstrable commercial awareness and a passion for community action, affordable housing, and sustainability, together with an understanding of Community Led Housing, you will be expected to be a good communicator, able to explain financial matters to non-experts, and help to shape the future of our client.
