The Professional Development Programme with Quilombo UK runs over a period of 16 weeks, is UNPAID and requires a minimum of 12 hours commitment per week across Monday, Wednesday and/or Friday.

Family Friends carefully recruits, trains, and matches volunteers with families in Central-West London. Our befriending volunteers offer long-term practical and emotional support based on each family's unique needs and potential. We offer two befriending volunteer opportunities with us-, Big Buddies and Parent Buddies.

Trustee Duties and Responsibilities
- Support and provide advice on 2-3 Degrees Legacy CIO’s purpose, vision, goals and activities.
- Approve operational strategies and policies, and monitor and evaluate their implementation.
- Oversee 2-3 Degrees Legacy CIO’s financial plans and budgets and monitor and evaluate progress.
- Ensure the effective and efficient administration of the organisation.
- Contribute to regular reviews of 2-3 Degrees Legacy CIO’s own governance.

Time commitment

Trustees are volunteers. You should be able to commit at least half day a month (4 hours) to support the work of the charity. This will include keeping abreast of the work of the charity through reading staff reports and attending Trustee Board meetings four times a year, responding to emails and providing advice and support to staff as necessary. In addition, you should be able to attend at least one full Board Development Day per year.

About the Role
We’re looking for a creative, proactive volunteer to manage and grow our presence across Instagram, LinkedIn, and TikTok. You’ll take the lead on crafting and executing a content strategy that builds awareness, engages early-career audiences, and amplifies the amazing work we’re already doing through our podcast and newsletter.

Role Overview
We are seeking a proactive and experienced volunteer to take on the role of Senior Human Resources Manager. This is a remote, volunteer position with the option to attend our office, located in Hackney, London, for those who prefer occasional in-person meetings. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and overseeing the HR strategy, policies, and processes that support our staff and volunteers, ensuring that Children With Voices remains a supportive and inclusive workplace.

You will work closely with the senior management team, providing strategic HR guidance and supporting the growth of the organisation.
