Working with disabled children and adults and older people, you will provide information, advice and guidance to empower people to have choice and control over how their health and social care needs are met, through the use of Direct Payments.

Within this role, you will focus on supporting members of the public to responsibly recruit and employ their own support staff.

About the role

As Senior Caseworker, you will provide first and second-tier specialist advice and casework support on a range of welfare benefits issues. You will manage a caseload of complex cases and will take cases to the First-tier Tribunal. Issues we commonly advise on include PIP, LCWRA and Universal Credit.

You will also offer guidance to our Pro-bono Project volunteers on their appeals cases, review cases and submissions to ensure accuracy and quality, and deliver training to PBP project volunteers. You will contribute to the work of the policy team, sharing expertise, insights and evidence.

About you

You will have significant experience as a welfare rights advisor and possess in-depth knowledge of welfare benefits legislation, case law, and procedures, including challenges to decisions and representation at tribunals. You will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills and have a commitment to working with communities who are marginalised and underserved.

About the role

Last year we launched a new website which provides independent online information, advice and support for kinship carers. This year, we’re continuing to develop new advice and information content for the website, as well as working on content for projects that focus on supporting kinship carers.

The postholder will research, create and deliver engaging, user-focused content, and deliver a seamless user content experience throughout all content development. Working with kinship carers and subject matter experts will be a big part of your role. 

You will be working on content in a range of formats, including web copy, printed guides, presentations for training, workshop materials (digital and printed), video and more.

One day you could be carrying out research with kinship carers, on another you could be doing paired writing with a subject matter expert to explain the different types of kinship care. 

Content Design by Sarah Winters and Rachel Edwards and Designed with Care: Creating trauma-informed content by Rachel Edwards will be your guides to best practice and content design principles. You’ll be confident facilitating discovery and research and building user stories and job stories with clear user goals.

The Mission Associate role we are looking to fill will involve ministering in the Pan-London Schools Team with a focus on Children, Youth and Schools (CYS). 

You would be joining LCM at an exciting time as we take forward our new five-year strategy. Our aim over the next five years is to see 150 new missional teams established in churches across London. These missional teams are groups of church members who “own” outreach to a particular group, are recognised by the leadership, and pray for each other, using their varied gifts regularly to minister to that group. We pray that, together by 2029, these teams will be part of 25,000 gospel conversations within communities where Jesus Christ isn't known.

Our Mission Associates are wholly committed followers of Jesus who bring their passion and skills to contribute to the work of our teams, helping to research the mission needs of an area, supporting networking with churches, helping to train and equip church volunteers in practical evangelism, or helping churches develop their mission work. Role Overview

The role of the Cathedral Safeguarding Officer is to maintain and build on the strong culture of safeguarding at Southwark Cathedral and carry out an effective safeguarding role as a key visible member of the Cathedral team. The role holder will promote awareness and understanding throughout the Cathedral community (staff, volunteers and worshippers) of the needs of children and vulnerable adults and actively promote the philosophy that their interests are paramount.

The successful applicant will be responsible for the development and implementation of Cathedral safeguarding arrangements, good practice, policy and training. The Cathedral Safeguarding Officer will make sure that safeguarding risks are appropriately managed and ensure that the Cathedral is applying any emerging national policies, procedures and best practice so that our ways of working continue to remain current.

NB: The successful applicant will play a leading role in the preparation for the upcoming INEQE safeguarding audit of Southwark Cathedral and Southwark Diocese scheduled June 2026. They will be supported in this aim by the appointed INEQE action group.

The role carries responsibility for safeguarding casework, including ensuring that allegations of abuse are promptly and appropriately handled, and where appropriate referred to the statutory authorities. Further, the role holder will effectively communicate and engage with survivors and victims of abuse.

The Cathedral Safeguarding Officer will advise the Cathedral on all safeguarding matters ensuring that all advice is in line with the law, government guidance and national policy and guidance from the House of Bishops. They will be supported in their role by three experienced volunteer cathedral safeguarding representatives who offer knowledge and experience of the cathedral. They will work collaboratively with peers in the Diocese and the National Safeguarding Team.

You will play a vital role within an innovative, community-based mental health service jointly commissioned by the London Borough of Harrow and NW London NHS, in partnership with Anna Freud. You will deliver brief, evidence-based interventions - primarily CBT, trauma-informed, and Mentalization approaches - to children and families experiencing mild to moderate mental health challenges. Working across schools, homes, and community venues, you will conduct psychological assessments, offer individual and group therapy, and collaborate with professionals to support complex cases. You will also provide consultation, training, and supervision to school staff and Wellbeing Practitioners, ensuring a trauma-informed and neurodiversity-aware approach.

What you’ll bring

We are seeking a compassionate, skilled mental health professional with a strong foundation in therapeutic interventions and a commitment to supporting children, young people, and families within a community-based setting. Essential qualification, experience and skills:

• Proven experience delivering evidence-based psychological interventions such as CBT, including a recognised qualification in a core profession of Clinical/Counselling Psychology, Family Therapy or other recognised background in child and adolescent mental health.
• Strong assessment and formulation skills, with the ability to manage complex cases and tailor support to individual needs.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities, particularly when working across schools, families, and multi-agency teams.
• Experience providing consultation, supervision, or training to professionals, ideally within educational or mental health settings.

Animal Equality’s campaigns have driven Parliamentary debates, legal victories, policy shifts, corporate commitments, mainstream media coverage, and inspired thousands of individuals to change their diets.

We are seeking a creative, driven, and strategic Campaigns Coordinator to deliver our current high-impact campaigns with a view to exposing the cruel animal agriculture industries, influencing decision-makers, and mobilising the public to create lasting change for farmed animals.

Working closely with team members, the Campaigns Coordinator will design and deliver imaginative campaigns while working in alignment with the organisation’s wider mission: to end factory farming. The role requires initiative, creativity, tenacity, and a solutions-focused mindset, as well as the discipline to execute projects effectively and professionally.

Marketing, Communications and Fundraising Director

Salary: £65-70,000

Location: Hybrid: home working with a minimum of one day/week in Teddington and regular visits to London shops

Contract Type: Full-time (part-time or job share considered – minimum 0.8 FTE)

The Role

FARA is a unique charity retail organisation with a network of 39 vibrant shops across 26 London communities. Our shops are the heart of our fundraising efforts, providing the majority of income to support our work with vulnerable children and families in Romania. Stylish and community-driven, FARA shops offer a distinctive reuse second-hand retail experience while making a real difference.

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Marketing, Communications and Fundraising Director to lead our strategic communications and fundraising efforts, with a strong focus on growing the visibility and profitability of our charity shops.

This hands-on leadership role will shape and deliver integrated marketing campaigns, drive footfall and customer engagement across our retail estate, and build brand awareness for both our shops and charitable mission. You’ll work closely with shop teams, the central office and external partners to ensure our messaging is compelling, consistent and impactful. You’ll also lead the digital and fundraising strategy, helping us reach new audiences and deepen relationships with existing supporters. With a small but passionate team, this role offers the opportunity to make a tangible impact across the organisation.

We’re looking for someone who:

• Has senior-level experience in marketing and communications, ideally within charity retail or fashion.
• Can lead others to develop fantastic fundraising campaigns.
• Is a strategic thinker with a flair for creative storytelling and brand development.
• Can lead and deliver multi-channel campaigns that drive engagement and income.
• Understands the retail environment and can tailor messaging to diverse audiences.
• Is confident working across digital platforms, media relations and fundraising.
• Has excellent interpersonal skills and thrives in collaborative environments.
