We are looking for a passionate and ambitious Head of Fundraising to lead and grow our voluntary income. Your focus will span the full range of fundraising activities, from statutory and trust funding to developing and increasing income across major donor giving, legacies, corporate partnerships, and individual giving.

You will lead and support a small team, bring fresh thinking and strong relationship-building skills, and work closely with project leads to ensure our funding reflects real needs and delivers real impact. You will be able to combine strategic and commercial awareness, with hands-on delivery.

This role will give you the opportunity and responsibility to build on our successful fundraising and extend our appeal to new donors as well as maintain our existing supporters. You will need demonstrable fundraising experience and the ability to work confidently as a strategic thinker as well as a practical fundraiser. You will come with strong ideas and skills to implement them.

JOB PURPOSE:

• To lead on the development of a healthy childhood programme for children and young people living in Sparkhill.
• To provide a range of activities for children, young people and their families which promote physical exercise and healthy eating.
• To promote the referral uptake from a range of services including the School Nurse Service, Family Hubs and GP practices.
• To monitor individual lifestyle assessments and to maintain an overview of the individual’s journey, including attendance, improvement of their lifestyle indicators etc. and capture case studies.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Receive and manage referrals including self-referrals.

· Arrange and manage triage meetings with participants.

· Ensure all participants are registered onto the programme and lifestyle assessments are completed to support The Healthy Childhood Programme monitoring, evaluation and demonstration of impact.

· Provide continuity and co-ordinated support, remaining the point of contact throughout the participant’s journey with the healthy childhood programme.

· Build supportive relationships with participants, providing non-judgemental support, understanding diversity and lifestyle choices.

· Maintain good communication with participants at all times, providing them with clear written information on what has been agreed and the next steps to be taken in their journey.

· Support participants to identify the wider issues that have an impact on their health outcomes and wellbeing.

· Be a friendly source of information about healthy lifestyles and wellbeing.

· Where appropriate, introduce participants to community groups, activities and statutory services. Follow up to ensure they are happy, able to engage, included and receiving good support.

Project Overview

The Inspiration Academy will support Years 6-8 to engage with education, strengthen attainment and wellbeing, develop leadership skills, and build a sense of belonging. It is part of a new Belonging Partnership which represents a unique opportunity over 3 years to make a difference to young people during one of the most challenging periods of their lives. The partnership will enable us to track progress and share practice, with multiple perspectives available to assess how young people have benefited, including teachers and parents/carers. We know how rare such opportunities are and we are therefore hugely excited about it.

DreamArts’ contribution to the partnership is the Inspiration Academy, designed to reach 150 pupils in 5 primary schools annually. Of these, 30 young people identified as at-risk of disengagement receive tailored group-based support as they transition to Pimlico Academy.  

Year 6 students from partner primaries will choose and explore a meaningful issue and lead a creative campaign for their school community. Those at risk of disengagement will work alongside peers, taking on positive roles that reshape their self-perception.

A week-long summer intensive will equip at-risk students with a ‘toolkit’ to navigate the academic, social, and emotional challenges of secondary school. Once at Pimlico Academy, they’ll train as Inspiration Ambassadors, delivering workshops to future cohorts.

Additionally, Family Express will provide parents/carers with a creative space to explore challenges alongside their children and other families, strengthening relationships and resilience. Through these opportunities, young people will be supported to build a sense of belonging within their schools and within their wider community.

Responsibilities

The Project Therapist will work alongside the Project Lead and provide a group-based creative therapeutic approach to the planning and co-delivery of the Inspiration Academy. You will help identify mental health and educational needs and co-develop strategies for reducing barriers to participation so that young people can:

· Explore who they are

· Build positive relationships with peers and adults

· Improve their sense of belonging within their school community

Our Fundraising team is growing and as such, we’re looking for a creative and passionate individual to join us in a brand-new role of Membership & Individual Giving Manager.

Membership is one of the key strategic priorities to achieve unrestricted income over the next five years, and in this role, you’ll be overseeing recruitment, retention and managing attrition of members, understanding our members and creating relevant offers and experiences. The role will manage income from individuals through appeals and growing income and support through our nature reserves. The time spent on each area be approximately, membership 60%, IG 30% and legacies 10%.

The Cathedral Chapter is in the process of refeshing its Mission and Vision within a Strategic Development Plan (due to be published in early 2026), and as part of this the Cathedral’s fundraising priorities will be decided and a Fundraising Committee formed to oversee and direct the task of building sustainable income within a fundraising strategy. The Head of Fundraising will be responsible for drafting this strategy and enacting it once complete, and for all other aspects of fundraising at the Cathedral. English PEN is the founding centre of PEN International, a worldwide writers’ association with over 130 centres in more than 90 countries. Crisis is the national charity for people experiencing homelessness. We have embarked on our 10-year strategy for ending homelessness. We know it is not inevitable. We know together we can end it.

We are now recruiting the team that will deliver Crisis at Christmas 2025. This unique project mobilises a huge volunteering effort to provide warmth, companionship and vital services in temporary centres across London to people facing homelessness.

Contract: Fixed term contract from 2 September 2025 to 27 February 2026

Location: Canning Town Warehouse, Unit 4 SEGRO Park, London E16 4ES - three days per week onsite

About the role

This role will involve building relationships with current and new corporate donors to ensure we can resource all the material donations we need to run the Crisis at Christmas centres in London.  Each year, we source gift in kind donations ranging from food and beverages to clothing, hairdressing equipment and toiletries. This is a varied role that involves researching donors, communicating with large corporate companies, managing volunteers, and running our yearly community donations drive.

About you

• Previous fundraising, project or event coordination or marketing experience. 

• Strong interpersonal skills and an ability to build relationships with partner organisations and donors at all levels and work collaboratively within a wider team. 

• Excellent attention to detail and data processing accuracy with experience of using Microsoft Office software, in particular Word, Excel, and SharePoint.   

• Good organisational and problem-solving skills. You should be able to manage multiple competing priorities and modify plans in response to unexpected complications.  

• A pro-active, positive attitude and willingness to get involved in hands on, manual tasks when required.

• Project Management accountability for the YAA CRM Project, ensuring successful, on-time and on-budget delivery

• Previous experience of delivering a fundraising CRM database implementation project, including data cleansing and migrations, ideally in a third sector environment
• Extensive track record of successfully managing projects and programmes with accountability for both technology configuration and deployment, integration, business process, change and infrastructure activities
• Proven ability to deliver projects on time/on budget, using project management processes and tools including risk management, benefits management, financial management and quality assurance
• Ability to resolve issues swiftly and decisively whilst safeguarding standards and procedures
• Strong team leadership with the ability to motivate and mobilise individuals outside their reporting line
• Strong business requirements collection and scoping, and process/workflow analysis
• Excellent communication skills (written & oral English), including the ability to communicate and present to all levels of the organisation
• Able to demonstrate instances of initiatives that have delivered organisational benefits
• Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills, with a high attention to detail
• Ability to effectively prioritise work and agree and communicate priorities within the team
• Demonstrates a strong work ethic and is able to take the initiative and ownership to deliver value to the Charity

Desirable:

• Project delivery experience relating to charity-specific CRMs
• Non-profit sector knowledge/experience
• Proven experience of using and leading change management activities including stakeholder management and engagement

About the role:

We are looking for a visionary and strategic Digital Movement Building Strategist to lead our digital organising, narrative change, and storytelling work at Power to Prosper. Reporting to the Programme Director, this role is central to shaping how our growing movement shows up publicly, connects across communities, and drives forward our mission for economic and racial justice.

You will be responsible for developing and delivering a digital strategy that builds visibility, deepens engagement, and inspires collective action across regions. You will oversee the integration of community-led storytelling, digital engagement tools, and organising infrastructure to strengthen our distributed movement model. Working closely with a small creative team and grassroots partners, you will ensure that Power to Prosper's digital presence is bold, values-driven, and rooted in the lived experience of the communities we work with.

The role is a full time and fixed term contract for 12 months. This role is based at our Bloomsbury campus with flexibility to work from home on a 40/60 basis (40% working from the office).

As the Head of Intercultural Engagement, you will be responsible for leading the Intercultural Engagement strand of UCL’s Student Life Strategy. By building relationships across UCL harnessing the rich diversity of UCL’s student community and creating new and investing in existing relationships with international partners, you will work to increase the number and range of opportunities for students to gain intercultural exposure on and off campus, managing a small team to support the expansion of our global engagement work. 

You will lead the Union’s work on Freedom of Speech at a time of change, increasing complexity and opportunity for the sector. Your team will support the organisation to deliver over 1500 external speaker events each year. You will be responsible for leading innovative programmes aimed at enabling students to disagree well at a global university as we tackle challenging issues in an uncertain world.
