The Head of Media is responsible for the Spokesperson Network and helping people in NEON’s networks make the most of media opportunities. They lead on strategy, developing high-level media contacts and managing staff associated with the programme. 

You will be someone who knows how to land stories and spokespeople in the media, capitalising on media and movement moments to push the conversation in a progressive direction. You’ll have a track record of jumping on opportunities, training spokespeople to deal with hostile interviews and staying calm under pressure. You will be a reflective manager, able to establish a strategically aligned, motivated and committed team. You will have a strong  understanding of the media landscape - including how it interacts with social media. 

On a day to day basis you will manage a team which books spokespeople into broadcast media every day of the week. You’ll pitch and draft comment pieces, build new contacts across progressive spaces and have high level meetings with producers and journalists. 

This project is part of a wider Communications Hub in which you’ll play an active role helping to develop the overall strategy and direction of the project.

The Corporate Partnerships and Fundraising Manager will play a leading role in the execution and delivery of our ambitious income generation strategy.

This role is responsible for identifying, cultivating and managing relationships with existing and potential corporate partners within the RICS community.

Working closely with the Supporter Engagement and Fundraising Manager, you will be responsible for building and maintaining meaningful relationships that will generate sustainable income and be part of our journey to breakeven over the next four years, whilst raising awareness of LionHeart, our services and impact for the people we support.

The Role

Reporting to our Head of Development, the post holder will be responsible for creating relevant fundraising material and developing fundraising activities, whilst building and accessing a network of Corporate Champions and monitoring performance against the income generation strategy.

You will be responsible for managing and mentoring the Corporate Partnerships and Fundraising Account Executive and together will implement a corporate  stewardship plan that will create meaningful engagement and opportunities for corporate giving and fundraising.

We’re looking for someone with experience of working in corporate or community fundraising, individual giving and/ or events management, who knows how to build and sustain strong relationships with external stakeholders to deliver objectives. 

You’ll also be comfortable delivering compelling partnership proposals and presentations tailored to corporate audiences, and will represent LionHeart at a variety of RICS, partner firm or fundraiser events and other networking opportunities.

This is a permanent role offered on a 30-35 hours per week basis, with a full-time salary (35 hours) of circa £40,000, dependent on hours agreed and experience.

• To work with relevant professionals to deliver a programme of wellbeing activities, including yoga, Pilates and complementary therapies.
• To recruit, train, support and manage volunteers and paid sessional staff to contribute to the delivery of a selection of the activities and workshops.
• To research and continually develop the activities and training programmes to ensure it is responsive to carers needs.
• To create promotional material to promote activities and training opportunities to carers registered with Richmond Carers Centre.
• To work with Adult Carers Support Team Leader to ensure activities are within budget, achieving targets and meeting the requirements of funders.

About the role

Our Participation and Involvement Manager will build on existing practice across the organisation and lead on the implementation and further development of a participation and involvement framework, enabling a large and diverse range of kinship carers to share their views and expertise meaningfully, safely and effectively to shape Kinship’s activity. It will also support our growing participation and involvement activity which involves children, young people and young adults with experience of growing up in kinship care.

You will work closely with kinship carers and colleagues across the organisation to understand the key challenges and opportunities with embedding participatory methods, including co-production and co-design, which improve Kinship’s work – right from the design and delivery of our advice and support services through to influencing policy and campaigning for change.

With support from colleagues, you will act as the key cross-organisational adviser on participation and involvement practice, supporting and empowering colleagues to develop the skills and knowledge they need to embed a consistent approach to the involvement of kinship carers to best suit the needs of their roles.

As an enthusiastic and engaging facilitator, and an advocate for participatory methods, you will sensitively and skillfully work alongside kinship carers and colleagues to deliver high quality involvement activity which supports the charity’s mission and aims. You will also be an experienced project manager, ensuring all activity is appropriately monitored and evaluated, and aligned with best practice around equality and diversity, remuneration, safeguarding and governance.

Key responsibilities include:

• Refine and further develop an existing organisational participation and involvement framework which supports staff to meaningfully, safely and effectively involve kinship carers in their work.
• Design and implement a plan to embed effective practice based on the framework across Kinship, building a positive organisational culture and providing appropriate training, upskilling and support to colleagues to ensure consistency of delivery and experience for kinship carers.
• Lead a cross-organisational working group of people with relevant lived, learned and professional experiences to support and advise on embedding high-quality participation and involvement activity.
• Work closely with colleagues across the whole organisation to understand their bespoke needs, strengths and requirements around implementing participatory methods in their day-to-day work, and develop strategic relationships with colleagues in areas with more extensive existing participatory or adjacent activity (e.g. research, volunteering).
• Develop and recruit a network of people with lived experience interested in being more intensively involved in participatory activities, with a focus on increasing the diversity of people working with us.

Essential experience includes:

• Experience managing and leading the delivery of participation or involvement activity with people with lived experience of social issues.
• A commitment to meaningful participation and involvement activity, including a nuanced understanding of the individual and organisational opportunities and challenges associated with this.
• Knowledge of models, methodologies and approaches used in high quality participation and involvement activity, and strong skills in creative facilitation – particularly with groups.
• An understanding of kinship care and how this may impact on kinship carers’ involvement with Kinship and our activity.
• Experience of effective project management with strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Job Title: Deputy Service Manager

Location: Elephant and Castle (around a 7 - 10 minute walk) onsite working, step free access

Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday on rota which can vary between 08:00 - 16:00, 09:00 - 17:00, and 14:00 - 22:00. You will also take part in the out of hours on call service for managers. Home working available one day per month, one evening per week, and no bank holiday working. 

About the role

We're seeking a Deputy Service Manager to join our Independent Approved Premises (IAP), commissioned by Criminal Justice Service (IAP) which works with high risk offenders who have left prison. Penrose Drive is a community setting, rather than custodial where residents can go out in the community if they do not have restrictions on their license. Security is therefore flexible in both design and operation. The team work in a multi disciplinary approach, working alongside probation services, job centres, mental health teams, and other community partners. 

You will lead the team by providing line management and leadership support to enable and empower the team to deliver high quality support to our residents. You will ensure a quality service is delivered in line with our contractual requirements, and will encourage the creation of a psychologically informed environment, which provides person centred support. The role includes:

• Line Management and Leadership, supporting your team providing advice, guidance and support throughout their employment lifecycle
• Support the Service Manager in leading the day to day operational delivery of the service
• Risk Management ownership, ensuring processes and policies are followed
• Property and Housing Management, ensuring the accommodation meets our requirements, and repairs and maintenance are regularly reported and completed

The Role

Job Title: Housing Support Worker

Location: Based within the central office in Luton with regular travel required around multiple community based locations

Salary: £24,500

About the role

This is an exciting new role within a brand new contract to support the referral process from the Housing Solutions teams! The service focuses on providing floating and wraparound support to single applicants who are at risk of homelessness and are able to live independently, by providing a housing support plan towards resolving housing needs and support them into long-term, stable housing.

In this role, you will conduct proactive outreach with our participants to develop personalised support plans for housing for appropriate long-term housing options, including accessing private rental listings and understanding application processes for tenancy. You will help our participants navigate the resources available to them including benefits and support services, advocating for their needs whilst empowering them to take ownership of their housing journey. You will work closely with the Landlord Liaison Officer who bridges the gap between our participants and private landlords. You will work closely with them to achieve prevention and relief outcomes by assisting the participant to remain in their provided accommodation. 

You will provide follow up support to ensure tenancy sustainment and successful transitions into permanent housing, keeping casefiles up to date with activities and documents, and escalating any high risks or high needs to the management team.

About you

This role is ideal for someone who has a real passion towards helping to end the cycle of homelessness, providing support to those who need it to live in stable accommodation. You will thrive in a person centred environment with real compassion and a non-judgmental attitude, understanding that people face different life experiences and sometimes just need that extra support to get back on their feet. We're looking for someone with a genuine passion and felt purpose to help people, challenge stigma, and make a real difference to people’s lives! You will have:

About Ely Foodbank:
Ely Foodbank is committed to supporting people facing hardship in our communities. While we are best known for our emergency food support, we are expanding our work to include financial resilience, advice services, and our Hardship Fund which helps clients with non-food essentials.

As a small, dynamic and growing charity, we are seeking a proactive and creative Fundraising Officer who can help us develop and deliver a diverse and sustainable fundraising strategy.

Job Purpose

The Fundraising Officer will lead on generating income from a wide variety of sources, including community fundraising, individual giving, grant applications, events, and corporate partnerships. This role will play a key part in securing the funds needed to support our expanding services and help us meet growing demand.
Key Responsibilities:

Income Generation & Relationship Building
- Develop and deliver creative fundraising initiatives across various income streams (grants, individuals, events, corporates, community groups).
- Research and apply for funding from local trusts, foundations, and statutory sources.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with supporters, funders, local businesses, and community organisations.
- Manage stewardship journeys to retain donors and encourage repeat giving.

- Create supporter journeys that encourage long-term relationships and increased giving.

Event Planning & Campaign Delivery
- Plan and deliver Ely Foodbank-led events and manage supporter involvement.
- Support third-party fundraising activities and provide fundraising toolkits.
- Attend community fairs, school assemblies, and local events to promote fundraising.
- Coordinate annual fundraising campaigns in line with Ely Foodbank’s calendar.

- Coordinate local fundraising events and campaigns including challenge events, seasonal campaigns, and third-party events.
- Provide support and guidance to community fundraisers and volunteers.
- Represent Ely Foodbank at local events, talks, and networking meetings.

Supporter & Community Engagement
- Build partnerships with schools, churches, businesses, and local groups.
- Deliver inspiring presentations and talks about the foodbank’s work.
- Support and recognise volunteers and fundraising champions in the community.
-- Use fundraising platforms (e.g., LocalGiving) to facilitate giving and track results.
- Identify opportunities for digital innovation in fundraising (e.g., QR codes, virtual events).

Administration & Compliance
- Ensure all supporter and donation data is accurately recorded and stored in line with GDPR.
- Track income, provide financial reports, and support gift aid processes.
- Liaise with finance colleagues to ensure proper reconciliation of donations.
- Monitor fundraising KPIs and adapt strategies based on performance insights.

Organisational Contribution
- Collaborate with colleagues across the foodbank to identify funding needs.
- Contribute to the development of the annual fundraising strategy and budgeting.
- Represent Ely Foodbank at local networking and sector events.
- Stay up to date with fundraising trends, regulations, and training opportunities.

Digital Fundraising & Communications
- Create engaging fundraising content for email, website, and social media to drive online donations.
- Use tools such as JustGiving, Localgiving or other digital platforms to facilitate giving.
- Collaborate with CEO and colleagues to promote campaigns and celebrate supporter impact.

Monitoring, Reporting & Administration
- Maintain accurate records of donors, supporters, and income using CRM software (Monday).
- Monitor KPIs and report on fundraising progress to the CEO and Board.
- Ensure all fundraising activities are compliant with regulations and best practice (e.g. GDPR, Fundraising Code of Practice).

Person Specification:

Essential Skills & Experience

- Demonstrable experience of fundraising or relevant transferable skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organisational and project management skills.
- Proven ability to build relationships with donors, supporters, and external partners.
- Confident with digital tools including social media and CRM systems.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and collaborative.
- Alignment with Ely Foodbank’s mission and values.

Desirable Skills & Experience

- Experience with corporate, trust and grant fundraising.
- Experience in community fundraising or donor engagement.
- Knowledge of fundraising compliance and GDPR.
- Familiarity with CRM databases and digital platforms.
- Driving licence and access to a car.

This is a Hybrid role with 3-4 days in the Leeds area.

The Role
Lead on the delivery of income to target through the key income streams, with a focus on driving corporate, community and event relationships.

Manage direct line reports of 2 Fundraising Officers.

Work with Head of Fundraising to build and manage a detailed fundraising budget, including income and expenditure.

Effectively manage, acquire and develop supporter relationships across the community to meet objectives.

A natural relationship based fundraiser who enjoys networking and building collaborative partnerships

Ideally experience in Corporate and or Community fundraising .

Previous line management Experience.

About the role

The role will involve the management of the day-to-day financial activities, VAT, gift aid, payroll and the monthly, quarterly and annual reconciliations and statutory accounts preparation. The job holder will work closely with the Chief Operating Officer, Finance Officer and volunteers within the team. There will be a requirement to work closely with the income generating staff, budget holders, auditors, banks and credit card providers on a regular basis. The Finance Manager will be responsible for managing the Finance Officer and Finance volunteer.
