About the role:
As a Team Leader you will play a vital role in supporting a team of CYP Practitioners in providing high quality, end-to-end support to all children and young people who have experienced domestic and/or sexual abuse across Cumbria. You will support and guide your team to achieve key performance indicators, provide appropriate information and support, complete regular 1-1 performance reviews and annual appraisals.
You will need:
- good understanding of domestic abuse and its impact on child victim/survivors
- experience leading a team
- to be able to provide effective crisis intervention, carry out risk assessments, safety planning, assessment of needs and individual support planning
- demonstrable experience of working in a similar setting or position
- strong communication skills and be able to present and educate service users and agency partners
- the ability to work independently and prioritise a busy workload
- An enhanced criminal record check is required for this role

Role
Sexual violence in prisons has long been ignored, leaving men without adequate support. Over the past year we have been part of a committee with HM Prison Service, Metropolitan Police and NHS England to create a Service on responding to serious sexual assaults within prisons in London. We want to raise awareness amongst prison staff of the appropriate responses to sexual violence and gather information about the needs of male survivors in prison to inform future service provision.

About the Role:
You will provide high quality support to all victims and witnesses of crime and Anti-Social Behaviour, leading on completing initial impact and risk assessments that are comprehensive and holistic. You will also provide cover for the local VS Helpline.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as the first point of contact for service users referred in to the service, completing comprehensive impact and risks assessments using agreed processes and a tailoring the response to each individual's needs.
- Manage a caseload of service users who require more immediate and short term interventions, referring on those with more long term needs either internally or externally.
- Develop support plans where appropriate.
- Maintain accurate and confidential case management records and contribute to monitoring information for the service and provide accurate and timely performance information for internal and external use.
- Respond appropriately to safeguarding concerns including both child protection and vulnerable adult issues.
- Ensure that everyone is aware of their rights under the Victim's Code of Practice and the Witness Charter..
- Comply and keep up to date with all relevant legislation, policies and procedures, including data protection legislation, confidentiality.
- Work as part of a team to ensure that all outcomes and Key Performance Measures are met relevant to the local contract.
Ideally you will have:
- Experience of delivering a service and working directly with service users in a statutory, voluntary or community work setting
- Experience of working in an outcomes focused service
- Knowledge of the criminal justice system and the impact of crime
- Knowledge and understanding of Domestic Abuse processes and services
- Experience of engaging with vulnerable victims of crime who may have complex needs

The Service User Network (SUN) is an innovative, community-based service providing open-access, facilitated peer support groups for people experiencing emotional difficulties, isolation, and unhelpful behavioural patterns. Based on therapeutic community principles, SUN actively involves members in running, developing, and evaluating the service.
Beyond support groups, SUN offers social events, focus groups, community meetings, and a regular newsletter, fostering a safe, empowering, and inclusive environment for members.
SUN has been recognised for its commitment to lived experience and staff wellbeing, holding the Gold Lived Experience Charter award and the Enabling Environments award from the Royal College of Psychiatrists. The service combines online and face-to-face provision, ensuring accessibility across Surrey and North East Hampshire.
The Role
The SUN facilitator with lived experience will be working closely with a SUN specialist clinician to deliver regular Service User Network (SUN) support groups in different community-based locations across Surrey and North East Hampshire.
SUN provides community-based, open access facilitated peer support groups and aims to help people develop effective ways of coping and improve their relationship with themselves and others.
As a SUN Facilitator, you will:
- C-deliver regular SUN support groups in the community, both face to face and online
- Work in collaboration with the co-facilitator and the SUN members, within support groups
- Use own lived experience of mental health problems associated with a diagnosis of personality disorder to support the development and knowledge of the service and wider services.
- Contribute to ensuring that any potential risk is being constantly assessed within a culture of positive risk taking and shared responsibility.
- Contribute to team supervision and business meetings and consider information regarding the safety and wellbeing of the people who access the service.
- Co-lead on different areas of the service on a rota basis, i.e., reporting, outreach, and member involvement.
- Actively engage in 1:1 check-ins and managerial supervisions.
SUN facilitators receive regular supervision and ongoing support to sustain this emotionally rewarding role.
About You
We are looking for someone with:
- Personal lived experience of mental health issues associated with personality disorder
- Previous experience of working within a professional environment
- Ability to reflect on and appropriately share your own life experiences and personal experiences of mental ill health as part of the facilitating role of the groups
- Ability to guide others in taking charge of their own recovery

Power2 is a fast growing and energetic children and young people's charity that has supported 27,000 young people since 2001. We are based in the North West of England and London and deliver early-intervention asset-based programmes to children and young people who have mental wellbeing challenges and are disengaged from school and more widely. Our new Programme Leads will be trained to deliver all our programmes and will primarily work in schools to support young people, their families, and school staff to ensure that at-risk pupils make the most of their education and improve their life chances. Work will include 1:1 support based in a school or in the community and delivery of Power2’s group programmes. The successful candidates could be based in one school or travel between multiple schools.

We are recruiting a Volunteer Manager to join our Communities, Older Adults and Volunteering team. The postholder will lead the Bolder Healthier Community Champions Volunteer Programme, overseeing the full volunteer journey from recruitment through to ongoing engagement. This includes coordinating recruitment through the Volunteer Brum digital platform, ensuring volunteers are effectively onboarded and inducted, and maintaining accurate, up-to-date records. You will work closely with local delivery partners to support them in involving and supporting volunteers in their areas, while also developing engaging content for volunteer sessions.
You will also lead activity within the Blues Go Green funded programme, building strong relationships with partner organisations and attending regular partnership meetings. The role involves supporting the development and delivery of volunteering activity in public parks across the city, ensuring activities are well planned, inclusive and delivered safely. Gathering feedback from volunteers and using it to inform continuous improvement will be an important part of this work.
Alongside programme delivery, you will oversee marketing, communications and events linked to both programmes. This includes promoting opportunities to attract volunteers from across Birmingham, supporting partners with local promotion, and coordinating online and in-person inductions, engagement sessions and celebration events. You will also support financial monitoring and reporting, helping to track budgets, manage invoices and contribute to reporting against key performance indicators.
This role is well suited to someone who is organised, approachable and confident working with volunteers and partners, with experience of managing programmes and a strong interest in community and voluntary sector work.

This is a full-time role focused on the delivery of an oral health education programme within targeted primary schools and community settings in Luton over 37.5 hours per week. Tooth decay rates in children, in Luton, are amongst the highest in the country. The project will work collaboratively with Luton Public Health and other locally focused oral health partners as a collective force for change.
AIMS
- Create awareness and lifelong habits of the importance of good oral health.
- Supporting children and families to understand contributing factors to poor oral health, including sharing public health messages that encourage positive behaviour change.
- Delivery of an outstanding programme of content.
- Support and strengthen the wider network of oral health partners to enable coordinated action and long-term behaviour change, including active participation in the Luton Dental Alliance.
- Highlighting demonstrable impact to support the sustainability and legacy of the project beyond the initial funding period.
ROLE SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES
- Work with partners to develop and design the educational element of the project.
- Deliver a high-quality educational offer which uses sport as a tool to engage disaffected young people, encouraging good oral health and enhancing their mental wellbeing, attendance, attainment, and life skills through innovative and tailored curriculum delivery.
- Recruit targeted schools to create a delivery plan throughout the academic year.
- In school delivery of the education programme to provide much needed support and awareness to children and families.
- Collect relevant data to ensure that Community Trust reporting obligations are met with funders.

About the role
