Are you a qualified and experienced Money Adviser looking to use your skills to make a real difference?
We’re looking for a qualified and experienced Money Advice Caseworker to join our advice team. You’ll use your knowledge and expertise to provide specialist advice to clients facing financial difficulties, helping them understand their options, resolve debt issues and improve their financial wellbeing.
You’ll need a recognised money advice qualification, together with recent experience of providing debt and money advice and managing your own caseload. You’ll have strong communication and negotiation skills, a good understanding of debt remedies, insolvency options and the interaction between debt and welfare benefits, and a commitment to delivering advice that is free, confidential, impartial and independent.
You'll be joining a supportive and collaborative team, helping people find a way forward when they're facing financial difficulties.
The role can be carried out remotely from anywhere within the UK, on a hybrid basis, or office-based from your choice of our North Yorkshire offices in Harrogate, Malton, Northallerton, Richmond, Scarborough or Selby.

We are looking for 2 Advice Workers to join the team at the Croydon Health and Wellbeing Space (CHWS).
Croydon Health & Wellbeing Space (CHWS) is an exciting and dynamic service, run in partnership with Mind in Croydon and Croydon BME Forum and commissioned by South London and Maudsley Mental Health Service (SLaM). The CHWS opened in 2022 with the aim of providing advice, information, and specialist support to Croydon residents with mental health concerns, who drop-in, or have been referred to the via the local Integrated Care Network Plus multi-disciplinary clinical and community mental health support teams.
The Advice Workers will be part of a friendly team, including crisis workers and clinical mental health professionals and function as the first point of access for visitors to the CHWS. Following an initial conversation to ascertain the clients’ needs, the Advice Workers will provide information and advice, as well as signposting and referrals to specialist services, such as the Mental Health Personal Independence Co-ordinators, Social Prescribers and Community Link Workers, in addition to the wider voluntary and statutory services in the borough. The role will be fast paced and vary each day offering a fantastic opportunity for the postholder to develop their knowledge and skills and make a difference to the users of this service.

The Outreach Money Advice Caseworker will provide specialist money and debt advice to people experiencing financial hardship, with a particular focus on preventing homelessness, sustaining tenancies and supporting residents to achieve long-term financial stability. Working as part of the Exeter Crisis & Resilience Fund partnership, you will manage a caseload of clients experiencing complex financial circumstances, providing FCA-regulated debt advice, welfare benefits advice, budgeting support, advocacy and practical assistance. Recognising that financial hardship rarely exists in isolation, you will work closely with housing providers, landlords, Exeter City Council and partner organisations to address the wider issues affecting people's financial wellbeing.
Using a relationship-based, person-centred approach, you will deliver outreach across Exeter through home visits, community venues and flexible methods of communication, ensuring vulnerable residents can access the support they need.
