This is an exciting opportunity to lead a collaboration partnership project between TCC, Wrexham Citizens Advice, and Wrexham Foodbank. This project will work to reduce poverty and the impact of poverty on people living in Wrexham.
The project coordinator role will be supported by management from the three partnership organisations.
The project coordinator will be responsible for the management and coordination of the project including budgeting, planning and implementation, monitoring, and evaluation. They will coordinate the project partners and wider stakeholders to support an influencing campaign in Wrexham funded by Lloyds Bank Foundation England and Wales.
Key Tasks Include:
- Raising awareness of the problem of poverty and its structural causes amongst those living and working in the county
- Making local elected officials, policy makers, and local organisations aware of the drivers of poverty and encourage them to take steps to alleviate these drivers
- Running community workshops, training, and other engaging activities to partner with people, including those with lived experience of turning to poverty support organisations (such as a food bank)
- Think strategically about how best to bring about change locally, working with a range of stakeholders, and enabling local people to engage with local policy makers
- Collaborative working – bringing the partner organisations together in a strategic and creative way
- Coordinating the setting of agreed project milestones with partners and track progress
- Being the main point of contact for all partners
- Coordinating partnership meetings (confirming chair, finding meeting venue, sending invites, setting meeting agendas, and distributing notes)
- Preparing presentations and reports with input from all partners
- Coordinating and implementing monitoring and evaluation of the project
- Being the main point of contact for funder
- Managing project budgets and finances alongside the project finance lead
- Ensuring people with lived experience and grassroots organisations can input meaningfully

Terms and Conditions:
- Salary £11,856 (FTE £27,434)

- The project coordinator will be employed by TCC (Trefnu Cymunedol Cymru/ Together Creating Communities).
- Annual leave starting at 23 days holiday per annum pro-rata (plus statutory bank holidays pro-rata), increasing 1 day per year of service up to a maximum of 30 days pro rata
- A pension contribution of 10% of salary, subject to the employee contributing 5%

About You:
Educated to GCSE level or equivalent with Maths and English at Grade C or above with effective communication and organisational skills you will understand and be committed to promoting volunteering. Using your understanding and commitment to equity and diversity you willprovide basic advice on volunteering procedures to colleagues and applicants.
With a good working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint you will be able todemonstrate accurate administration skills including word processing, spreadsheet creation and digital filing.
A requirement of this role is the ability to travel between Trust sitesin a timely manner.

Wandsworth WellFamily and Foodbank Service is an adult mental health service serving the Wandsworth community and based in foodbanks and GP surgeries across the London Borough of Wandsworth. The role
The post holder for this role will be responsible for co-ordinating the work of the Oldham Poverty Action Network and leading on bringing the Network members together, leading on the co-ordination of the key projects and programmes that tackle the root causes of Poverty in Oldham, ensuring that local people, community organisations and institutions can collaborate through the Network to achieve the Network’s shared vision. At Bookmark Reading Charity, we exist to change children’s life stories through the joy of reading. Volunteers are vital to our ongoing success at Bookmark and our team are focused on providing them with a positive and rewarding volunteer experience. As a Volunteer Coordinator, you will play a key role in the communications with, support for and retention of volunteers. You will also help develop the volunteer experience across the organisation, ensuring continuity and quality in our volunteer involvement practices.
Primary Responsibilities
- Work with the Volunteer Services Manager to deliver the Volunteer Strategy and Bookmark’s vision
- Deliver mechanisms to maintain or improve volunteer activeness , satisfaction and retention
- Act as primary contact for volunteers, supporting with enquiries and concerns
- Deliver ongoing volunteer stewardship and recognition functions
- Coordinate and facilitate the delivery of events and drop-in sessions for prospective, onboarding and onboarded volunteers
- Deliver continuous development and coordination of other support services, including but not limited to our volunteer messaging platform, engagement resources and the Volunteer Helpline
- Facilitate peer-to-peer engagement opportunities for volunteers
- Conduct, report and advise on volunteer feedback and insights
- Support with delivery of Volunteer Advisory Board
- Support with creation and delivery of volunteer marketing and publicity opportunities

The Role
In this new role of HR Coordinator you'll work directly with the HR Manager,operating at the centre of our people operations. Working closely with our diverse teams across the Trust and external partners,you’ll ensure a seamless HR experience.
You'll enjoy significant autonomy while receiving full support from the HR Manager, having the freedom to grow and develop in this generalist HR position. Key Accountabilities:
- Own the recruitment journey, from working with hiring managers in the crafting of job descriptions and compelling job adverts to welcoming new starters on board
- Get into the details of the employee life-cycle; onboarding, offboarding and everything in-between, making sure everyone feels valued and supported from day one
- Strive for continuous improvement in our HR processes and maintaining accurate records, ensuring compliance with the latest regulations
- Be involved in the development, implementation and management of supportive and user-friendly policies and procedures that are aligned with our values
- Coordinating online and face-to-face training for mandatory courses and skills development
- Alongside the HR Manager, you’ll be the go-to for colleague queries, providing guidance with consideration and confidentiality
