Marketing Officer

The Role
The Maths Champions Marketing Officer will play a key role in developing and executing marketing strategies that drive programme awareness, generate leads, and support business growth. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to plan and deliver campaigns, manage digital content, and analyse performance metrics. You will be responsible for promoting Maths Champions to early years settings, increasing brand visibility, and helping to drive enrolments through targeted campaigns and setting engagement.
About You
You will have either a good honours degree or equivalent demonstrable experience in digital marketing.
Successful candidates will have experience of:

The Role
This is a unique opportunity to join the team as an Events Coordinator, reporting directly to the Events Manager. You will be responsible for the charity’s exciting and varied portfolio of events from challenges to Golf Days and Christmas Carol services, and will play a key role in delivering their ambitious plans.
Main duties will include:
- Delivering key running, challenge, and bespoke partnerships to achieve agreed income targets and KPIs within set budgets.
- Reviewing, evaluating and developing opportunities to successfully deliver and grow the events portfolio.
- Providing excellent stewardship to NWAA participants in events across the region.

The Person
We are looking for someone who has experience in event management, ideally within fundraising. While charity experience would be advantageous, we are also keen to speak with people with an existing knowledge of fundraising and the drive to further their career within a fundraising role.
You should possess exceptional communication skills, and be able to inspire participation and fundraising within diverse audiences. This role requires tenacity, creativity, team work and a proactive positive attitude. It is a busy role so you will need to be organised, able to prioritise and work under pressure to make the most of opportunities. Experience in working to financial targets and database management are also essential.
Please note that this role will involve attending events in the evenings and weekends. You will be required to have a full UK driving license, and access to your own vehicle.

The Role
Reporting to the Head of Cancer Insight and working closely with both internal colleagues and external partners, you will play a key role in identifying emerging strategic opportunities. · Support horizon scanning of sources of information such as academic literature, policy recommendations and clinical trial portfolios to identify emerging trends and opportunities for cancer research, one-off projects and new services, with a focus on issues affecting Yorkshire.
· Identify potential opportunities for collaboration with external partners with shared strategic ambitions.
Strategic focus and prioritisation
· Support the development of a strategic development plan that defines goals in the short, medium, and long-term.
· Work with the wider Cancer Insight Team to present the potential future impact of projects and provide information to support strategic prioritisation via a new strategic prioritisation framework.
Project Management
· Manage the design, planning, and execution of new strategic projects aligned with the charity’s overall strategic goals and objectives.
· Develop clear project scopes, objectives, timelines, and success metrics.
· Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to a high standard.
Stakeholder Engagement
· Build and maintain effective relationships with internal teams and external organisations. This may include, but is not limited to, academic partners, NHS stakeholders, private sector service providers, pharmaceutical industry partners and other external organisations such as other health organisations, funding bodies and charities.
About You
To be considered for this role, you will need:
- To have a degree in a relevant subject such as public health, health sciences, biomedical sciences, health policy, or a related field.
- To have a proven track record of delivering strategic or innovation projects in a healthcare, research or charity setting is essential.
- To have experience in identifying new opportunities aligned with strategic objectives.

You will be experienced in engaging and working with communities and a confident communicator with the ability to network with people across all levels. You will be able to deliver community specific workshops and awareness sessions, working collaboratively with both internal and external colleagues to reduce health inequalities across the county.
You will be able to manage your own projects and a small team of community volunteers, prioritising as you go. Whilst this is a homeworking role the majority of your time will be working out within the community, and you will be required to regularly travel across Northamptonshire and must live within the county.
What you’ll focus on:
- Identify, engage, build and nurture relations with key stakeholders and influencers in each local community to ensure that dementia is a local priority.
- Develop an excellent understanding of the issues that prevent communities from engaging in dementia services and supporting the development of services to make them as inclusive as possible
- Develop and deliver community specific workshops and awareness sessions that make a positive impact for people living with dementia in their community.

You will work alongside our experienced MDT specialist practitioners to deliver excellent standards of care to our inpatients. ·Planning and delivering patient-centred care, working closely with patients and their families.
·Acting as the ‘shift’ coordinator, overseeing high-quality team nursing care and coordinating wider team care that puts patients at the heart of what we do.
·Acting as the key worker for a designated caseload, showing nursing leadership by providing care as part of a multidisciplinary team.

The ARC engages approximately 250 young people per year and plays a vital role in their welfare and development outside of school. In holidays we offer a full program of activities and free meals for young people who may otherwise miss out.
You will deliver a range of activities e.g. cooking, arts & crafts, sports, trips, music, events etc. You will also offer support and guidance for local young people and enable them to develop life long skills while designing and running their own projects, forums etc. In school holidays you will be required to work an expected 28 hrs a week as we offer a full program of activities and free meals for young people
