Job Purpose
The purpose of the Programme Coordinator is co-ordinate with all parties (Community Engagement Manager, the Programme Manager, LMK Leaders and the host organisations) to enable LMK to deliver high quality workshops for young people/youth work professionals/workplaces.
Acting as the lynchpin of the organisation’s delivery team, the Programme Coordinator takes the workshop brief from the LMK Community Engagement Manager and then works with the Programme Manager to secure facilitators (LMK leaders), ensures the host organisation receives all supporting information, and provides LMK Leaders with the resources they need to deliver the workshop effectively. This role is also responsible for regular reporting about workshop bookings and delivery.
Reporting to our CEO, the successful candidate will be part of LMK’s core staff team. You will work with LMK staff, LMK Leaders, members of our Youth Advisory Board, trustees and key stakeholders to develop and implement our long-term strategy.
Key responsibilities:

Provide excellent customer service to organisations who are hosting LMK workshops, ensuring that all communication is timely and accurate, and any questions are responded to in full.

Liaise with the Programme Manager and LMK Leaders to ensure there is clear understanding around their areas of expertise, availability and any specific considerations that need to be taken into account when delivering workshops.

Open up opportunities to deliver workshops to any Leader applicable, ensuring the allocation of workshops is done fairly and consistently.

Ensure LMK leaders have the information and resources required to deliver their workshop.

Work closely with the Research and Evaluation Manager to ensure that the correct evaluation surveys are made available to workshop participants.

Work with our Head of Fundraising to track workshop delivery against funder commitments.

Keep the CRM system data up to date in a timely way.

Produce regular reports for the CEO on the booking and delivery of workshops, as well as any ad-hoc reports requested.

Share Leader evaluation feedback from workshops with Leaders.

Check invoices submitted by LMK leaders, and work with the Programme Manager to get them approved.

Support the Programme Manager to organise LMK Leader Huddles and training events.

One of the UK’s most inspiring and best-known faith-based organisations, The Salvation Army, is looking for a Programme Coordinator to run our Starfish Programme. Starfish is a mentoring programme designed to work with children and young people in schools, aged 9-16 years. Working within a school’s student wellbeing support, Starfish provides committed and trusted adults (mentors) to work with children and young people who need Early Help without which they would be at risk of not meeting their full potential. Their identified needs may related to their health, educational or social development.
Key Responsibilities:
- To provide day-to-day mentoring, co-ordination, and development of the Starfish programme with local primary and secondary schools.
- To ensure Starfish operates efficiently to meet the aims of the programme to help support children and young people to reach their potential guided by a Trauma Informed Practice approach.
- Co-ordinate referrals to the programme, ensuring the receipt of all relevant information and match children and young people with mentors.
- Recruit and support volunteer Starfish mentors from local Salvation Army corps and other churches in line with Salvation Army volunteer and Safe & Sound guidelines
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate:
- A qualification in children’s or youth work and/or good experience of working with children and youth aged 9-16 in education and or in the wider community. Applicants with transferable / relevant skills will also be considered.
- Knowledge of issues affecting young people (e.g. education, poverty, mental health)
- Excellent people skills and experienced in working with children and young people (individuals and groups) with the ability to create and run creative and age-appropriate positive mentoring activities.
- Must have the credibility and skills to represent The Salvation Army appropriately and professionally in a variety of settings and able to develop and harness external partnership opportunities and relationships.

Job Description
The First Contact Navigators play a central role in the CARA team, ensuring that our service users and other agencies receive a high-quality service from the moment of first contact. You will work as part of a wider team of First Contact Navigators across Esse and the post liaises with clients, the CARA team and external agencies, providing advice, support and information.
The First Contact Navigator will engage with individuals who are experiencing, or who have experienced, sexual violence and or sexual abuse who require information, signposting and short-term support. You will be the first contact and conduct first meetings, managing your own caseload and co-ordinating personalised support for individuals on their pathway to wellbeing. You will have strong communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills with the ability to work under minimal supervision. You will support people who use CARA services to make informed decisions about their wellbeing, maximising their independence and engaging in appropriate community or clinical resources. You will work collaboratively with service users, the CARA team and other professional agencies to navigate and coordinate services.
The main responsibilities of the post are:
· To act as a first point of contact for new referrals and enquiries, providing information, emotional support, advice and signposting.
· To complete first contact calls and assessments with clients over the telephone.
· To ensure information about new referrals/enquiries is accurately recorded on CARA’s database in real time.
· To work collaboratively and build trust with service users, agencies, personal and professional support networks to collate relevant information to effect individualised support requirements.
· To assess and engage service users not currently engaged in appropriate specialist sexual violence services.
· To seek and respond to referrals from a variety of internal and external sources.

We’re looking for a Challenge Events Manager to join our Sports and Challenge Events Team managing an innovative and evolving portfolio of mass participation events, including the mighty London Marathon.

The mass participation team regularly raises just under £2m. We require someone ideally who has experience in this area already or someone with strong transisitional skills. The successful candidate will lead on mass participation events ensuring an excellent level of service is maintained to maximse fundraising income.
The Charity team is responsible for raising millions of pounds each year to ensure Christie patients receive gold standard care and treatment. This includes everything from access to world first clinical trials and receiving radiotherapy in state-of-the-art treatment centres to young adults being cared for in a bespoke age-appropriate centre and being able to offer patients anxiety reducing complementary therapy, or even creative sessions in our art room.

A project has been established that is currently working with 33 schools and 33 churches in developing discipleship pathways for children and young people in Bolton. One key aspect of this project is the ‘Shades Project’, which focuses on racial justice and faith, supporting schools and churches in developing a culture for all children and young people, regardless of racial background, to thrive and flourish. In response to the exciting growth of the Shades Project, they are looking to appoint a Shades Project Worker to support the growing opportunities for Christian discipleship and to embed the Shades ethos in primary and secondary schools and parishes in Bolton deanery.
The Shades Project Worker will work with the Shades team in primary and secondary schools, delivering Shades Collective Worship and Shades ‘Faith and Identity’ workshops.
